Shaka Caye - All inclusive

"Two travelers/5 days We had a memorable experience on this quaint island of paradise. I cannot complement high enough the courteous staff, and their willingness to assist you in every way. From the timely transportation arrangements to the absolute BEST cuisine (chef Jose), it was a wonderful vacation. Percy, Obe, Roddy and Michael attended to all food/bar/towel needs; Daisy kept us informed; Kelsie tidied the room twice daily; Captain Andre took us on safe and beautiful excursions. Several others "behind the scene" deserve recognition. They made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend this place as a peaceful getaway."

"The hotel is located in a really nice area, not too far out from the city. Not far from the ocean and also not far from places to eat. Good restaurants, and other local amenities. There's also a small Cafe right around the corner from the hotel so you will always be able to get food except for Sunday. They are closed. However, the staff is very willing to help and if you need anything at all, they're willing to help you find somewhere to eat and everything else that you could possibly need. They will even help you decide fly to some of the other districts and keys and everything, I will stay at this hotel as much as possible on my next trip and on every trip in the future if it's available."

"Nice view of the park and bay. Although the casino was right downstairs, we didn't hear any noise from it--until it closed and guests came upstairs...."
Golden Bay Hotel by Marine Parade

"I loved that there was a shop on property which was more like a supermarket and household store which sold everything from souvenirs to children's toys! There was a cafe inside the store as well selling a variety of hot and cold beverages including the usual coffees and teas but also bubble teas, smoothies plus pastries and nibbles. The rooftop restaurant was good also. The restaurant staff was attentive without being overbearing, the food and drinks were good, the service was fast and the prices were reasonable."
St. George's Caye Resort

"St. George's Caye Resort was an amazing mix of adventure and relaxation! The service was personalized, the food was beyond incredible and the memories will last a lifetime! A large sea turtle swam up to our boat as we were about to get in the water for our first snorkel. And a manatee swam right beside us during our snorkel at the Hol Chan Marine reserve (we also saw several other types of marine life but those were the highlights!)"

"The hotel and room was modern, clean and comfortable, with great and helpful staff. Great location on the beach, away from the noisy crowds. My main ping is about architecture but only because I sometimes like the aircon off ... the only way to let fresh air in is through the sliding glass door, no windows, so the choice is aircon+locked door, or breeze+ unlocked and open door. Perhaps I especially thought about the aircon and alternate options because both nights I was there power went out briefly on that part of the island."
