Marv Herzog Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The Marv Herzog hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel. In that the hotel only has 38 rooms you never feel crowded. The hotel is located right on the Cass river which adds to the ambience (definitely try to book a room on the river side with balcony). The patio overlooking the river outside the lobby is a great place to hang out and to enjoy the complimentary breakfast and evening reception (wine, beer and snacks)."

"Great place to bring the kids. Waterpark, pools and game rooms were top notch. Staff was very accommodating and the grounds were very well kept. Walking distance to downtown and all the great things to do. The only negatives are that the rooms are due for a refresh. They are a little dark and dingie. Also could be a little cleaner in the bathrooms. Overall, a great family place."

"Nice and clean. A few things - if you are a sleeper who likes quiet - the air conditioning unit going on and off is quite loud - you will need ear plugs. The grab bar in the shower was only in the front - so if there is someone with stability issues - it is not sufficient. No place to hang bath towels in bathroom. Parking is convenient. Breakfast is good for quick bite."

"Always a Great stay. Reasonable rates. Rooms are well cleaned. Delicious breakfast bar with yummy waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, good coffee, orange juice. Rite in the heart of town. Restarants and shopping stores. Minutes from the beach. Staff was kind and helped when needed more towels and very accommodating. Bonus restarant/bar attached to hotel. The Gathering Place. Great food and great ice cream bar."
