I grew up near Tutbury and spent many an evening in the "D&P" but this was my first stay visiting from the US. My visit could not have gone any better - the staff were all so helpful, the food was excellent and the room very comfortable. The room had everything I needed but it was a bit cold (but I'm from California and this was in November!). Nice dirt and paved trails for walking/running. Good gym, great pool with nicely set up locker rooms. Interesting memerobilia in cases and photos on the walls to capture the imagination of the younger foorball (soccer) enthusiasts and trigger fond memories in the older ones.

We loved staying at The Boot in Repton. The staff was extremely helpful and the food was delicious! Considering breakfast was included in the room rate, it was well worth it.

Thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay or eat, rooms nice, excellent food, the decor in the bar and the restaurant are exceptional, staff were so nice and helpful, in your room it is so quiet at night, you cannot hear the traffic from the main road, would thoroughly recommend and will be booking this again for my next trip to Derby 😀
