Top Tutzing Hotel Reviews
Aloft by Marriott Munich
8/10 Good
"One of the elevator was broken throughout the whole duration of our 4 nights stay. So everyone was relying on the one remaining elevator. There are disparities on the staff service at the front desk. But for the most part, a decent stay"
Hotel Europäischer Hof
10/10 Excellent
"Room was spacious and clean. Nice staff at reception. Would stay again."
Cocoon München Hauptbahnhof
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel in good location. Breakfast is expensive and there are nice cafes around the corner so save your €s. Fun lift,"
Maritim Hotel München
8/10 Good
"Great location for train travelers just 100 metres from the Hofbahn sud exit. Staff very helpful though no mention of the pool upstairs. Aircon was great and shower excellent. Outside the hotel the area is a bit edgy but really not a problem"
Jaeger's Munich - Hostel
10/10 Excellent
"Great hostel in an amazing location. Really cozy common area downstairs, and use of the minifridge was nice, although not a lot of room for the number of people. Count on being able to store some small leftovers, not full-on groceries. The weird thing was the cleaning staff usually came through before checkout time. It happened on the day I left and the cleaning lady seemed upset that I was still there and needed to use the room despite the fact that my checkout time wasn't for another hour and a half. Other than that, great. The room size was really generous for just 4 beds, nice to have full lockers in the room too."
Courtyard by Marriott Munich City Center
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed in late August 2026. Rooms are small however clean. Bar and restaurant really good and the staff are very nice, helpful & the food is very good. Not located in a premium area however reasonably close to the rail station (10 minutes on foot with luggage is doable). Within 10 minutes walk you are entering the main hub of Munich and close to all tram & bus services. There is a laundromat close by however costly by western standards, it cost is nearly 20 Euro for two loads and drying. So i would recommend this hotel for short stays and budget friendly."
WunderLocke Munich
10/10 Excellent
"The WunderLocke exceeded expectations. Right from check-in, the front desk staff host, Barbara, was friendly, courteous and very helpful as she kindly answered all of our questions. The room for our family of four was perfect with the loft. And the fact that it had a laundry machine, and other appliances made this the perfect place to stay mid-way through our trip. Highly recommended!"
Eurostars Book Hotel

"Super clean place Super friendly staff"
Cocoon München Theresienwiese
10/10 Excellent
"Our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) had a great experience staying at "The Cocoon", as we liked to refer to it. We had a room with a queen sized bed plus a queen sized pull out sofa, which made the room pretty cramped when the couch was unfolded, but the other amenities made up for the close quarters. The additional men's and women's toilets down the hall allowed our teenage girl to get ready in our room's bathroom without the rest of us having to wait to use the toilet. The air conditioned room was such a relief after our adventures in 95 degree F heat, and the complimentary chilled water filling station (with both carbonated and still options) was a welcome plus. The 6th floor sun roof, which overlooked the Oktoberfest grounds, was a nice place to hang out during the evenings. The location is quiet and residential but within walking distance of a great restaurant with beer garden, the German Transportation museum, and there is a bus stop directly across the street for a bus that goes to Marienplatz. We visited in August, but it would be an ideal hotel for attending Oktoberfest, as the huge park grounds for the festival is literally one block down the hill."
