"This place is not for everyone but it is a great basic option. It is located quite a distance from town which means either a taxi or long walk if you want to eat there or need a pharmacy etc. The host is great, friendly and incredibly helpful... he'll do anything to make your stay memorable. Food here now s basic but good, the rooms also are very basic but clean and comfortable. There is no pool here but it is on the river which is very tempting on hot days. This a great quiet option and feels a bit like home away from home."

"Ok so it wasn’t perfect but it WAS very enjoyable. Room 6 overlooking the river was fantastic. The mountains are beautiful along the river. The staff here is great from the owners to all the staff. The language barrier was a bit of an issue even with google translate and we often didn’t get exactly what we ordered at meal time but everything was delicious. The owner was great to organize everything I needed from taxis to a private guide to the caves. I would return here in a heartbeat and highly recommended. "

"Excellent stay good value for money. The nicest owner. Was able to check us in when our bus arrived at 4am. Nice breakfast included. Clean and spacious room. Hot shower, water does run out quick on the small heater. Pillows could use an upgrade + a thicker blanket for colder days. Didn't love the indoor smoking in the reception area in the evening- couldn't be smelt in the room but it felt like walking through an ashtray on the way in. Good location in town. Overall would reccomend. "
