"Nick, the manager was so kind and accommodating. He’d allowed my check in by phone before he closed office for the night as I wouldn’t be arriving early enough. The next day I made it a point to go in and introduce myself. Upon check out I was able to see him again to say goodbye and introduce him to my daughter. He expressed gratitude for my daughter’s life of service and we chatted about his love for minerals and gemology. The cheerful, whimsical aesthetic was a delight in the otherwise drab color scheme of the desert. It was a fantastic stay with excellent service. "

"Did run into questionable people while at the pool who conveniently forgot their key to get in which was uneasy since I was traveling with my child but otherwise stay was great. Front desk was very nice and helpful every time I went in. Breakfast was great everyday and not crowded. Beds were comfortable, slept great. No complaints. Very close to grocery store if you need snacks. Recommend if in the area. "

"The house was a bit cramped for a family of five but we didn't book this place to be inside. It's an older house so don't expect modern day luxuries but the AC blows cold, the water pressure is great, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals and there are plenty of books to read if you're into that. Also, there's a great coffee spot (Mas o menos) right down the street which was a plus. Dale is accommodating and will give you a tour of the site during your check in. I know this isn't for everyone so just keep that in mind. The real star of the show is the back side of the property. There's a stand alone jacuzzi which is perfect for relaxing and staring at the sky. The pool is amazing and fenced in and backs up to the sprawling boulder area. My kids loved climbing the boulders and each day they would explore higher and higher. The high cave was their favorite spot. It was great to have that option for the days we didn't feel like making the trek into JTNP. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. "

"Check-in was supposed to be at 4PM we didn’t get into our room until after 9PM, with barely any communication the entire time. When we finally got in, the bathroom was disgusting and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. Easily the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I wouldn’t stay here again."

"This stay was amazing!! Property is beautiful and very clean, like our room had not a speck of dust!the staff was welcoming and kind! The room is so beautiful part of me just wanted to stay in and absorb it all!! Pool was clean and they have a pantry to buy snacks and whatnot. Definitely want to return on a girls trip. "
