The owner was very accommodating and congenial. The house is very open and rustic. Thank you so much for your flexibility and warmth. It met our needs very well.
This is a wonderful home to get away in. It truly felt like a home away from home. If you are looking for a place to escape it all, this is definitely it! It was wonderful to be far enough off the road that our children could explore to their hearts content. Waking up and seeing cows and sheep grazing outside the window was a definite plus.
Great place to get away,,,host was friendly and helpful,,,hope to go back again!

One of our favorite places
This is one of our favorite places. It was our 30th anniversary and this is where my wife chose to spend it. We love the quiet and seclusion of the ranch. You can see an abundant amount of stars at night from the porch, enjoy the quiet and relax. The views right form the house are beautiful. Flowing fields, mountains in the background and the sunsets are amazing. We like to bring the ATV and explore the miles and miles of land out there. You are quite a few miles form town and that is appealing for us.
The house is comfortable and welcoming. You have great views right form the living room windows. Mark is a great host and a really great guy. If you like the quiet beauty of country living, this is the place.
This home is one of the MOST quiet places!! The host, Mark escorts you from Rogerson directly to the door and shows you around. He was kind enough to answer our many questions about the history of the ranch before leaving.
We were impressed with the abundant supply of paper products, towels, kitchen supplies and just about anything else you need. Plenty of space to roam both inside and out, complete with a small stream just down the hill which you can cross to walk back to the `nob' for a higher view of the landscape. We were lucky enough to experience a full moon, hail storm and Great Horned Owl sighting while here. Do remember you are on a cattle ranch where the flies can be a bit of a nuisance ....
We found the people in this area to be so friendly and helpful, this was our first time visiting Idaho. An absolute must is a stop at the Sinclair gas station in Rogerson! It serves as a gas station / small grocery / Cafe / RV stop. Anita the owner and her assistant Ester put on an awesome prime rib dinner on Friday nights and also serve hearty breakfast and lunches.
Do take the time to visit the little town of Jarbidge, it's an experience you'll not forget! The Gerber's & Foor's MI / NM August 2021
If you want to get away from "it all" this is the place. Beautiful land, peace, and quiet, a place to unwind. That being said, it's not so far away you don't have internet. It's the perfect getaway when you want to relax.
Our group of six stayed at the ranch house for just under a week. The house was extremely comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. It was a lot of fun staying on a working ranch. We went to a nearby dam for swimming, took lots of hikes, explored a creek, and had lots of downtime. The internet connection was great. There were mice (June 2021) which may bother some. Visit the grocery store on your way in as it's not practical to leave the community once you're in because of the driving distances. If you're looking for a few days with a group in a quiet location for rest and connection, this is a great option.
This is a great place to go if you love the outdoors. Definitely has a fun feel of an old ranch house. There are 2 nearby lakes with great fishing and swimming. Loved it.

Fun Cabin
We loved our stay at this cabin. Although it is certainly remote, that is what we were looking for when we booked our stay. The cabin itself was comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay, and we enjoyed exploring the area around the cabin.
Mark was great to work with and made sure all of our needs were met. He was even kind enough to meet us in Rogerson so we could follow him out to the cabin. We arrived late and it was dark by the time we got to the cabin, so we really appreciated it.
We certainly hope to return in the future.
Property was clean, fully stocked with kitchen, bedding, and other residential supplies needed. Phone, internet, cable were available and worked. Property manager was awesome and went way out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this rental for others and I will return as well.
The property is situated in a remote area but the owner was happy to meet us and guide us back to the place although his directions to the place were very helpful. The cabin is isolated out in a big field overlooking a small valley with Elk Mountain to the south. We enjoyed a quick tour by the owner of the place. He was very helpful and you could tell that he loved the land and the cabin, which his parents had built. Everything is well thought out and you have everything you could need at the place. We we fe thankful for how workable the owner was with our group. We had lots of little children and a big group. It is wise to get all your grocery shopping done before going to the place as it is rather remote, but over all the place is beautiful.

Such a cozy/fun stay
The home was exactly like the photos. It was very clean and cozy. The location was nice and secluded, it was beautiful. The homeowner was very kind and welcoming. We had such a great time. We will definitely be coming back again!
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was very calm, quiet and the house is how we saw in the pictures. Even though it was far from the city it was worth renting this property. With the help of Mark everything was so much easier, he is super kind person. We met up with him at a location and he guided us all the way to the house and along the way he gave us a tour. When we arrived to the house he had left a little gift for us. Mark was always willing to help us no matter what! We had lots of fun and made some memories. Thank you Mark and Lisa Guerry for everything đ
This is one of our favorite places. My wife calls it her "Happy Place". It is out of the way, comfortable, and beautiful grounds. We love being out in the country away from all the craziness of the city. Mark and family are fantastic hosts. We brought an ATV and had miles of trails to ride. I recommend anybody who loves the quiet getaway in a beautiful setting, this is your place.
Mark communicated everything with me and checked on us via email several times throughout the week to make sure we didnât need anything. This ranch is definitely remote, but thatâs what we were looking for! Thereâs plenty of kitchen space and room to spread out.
We didnât see any animals besides a few horses and the dogs, but they may have other animals at other points in the year.
The house isnât baby proofed (nor did we expect it to be), but it made bringing two 17 month olds a bit of a challenge.
This is close enough to Twin Falls that we took a few day trips up there and spent time at Shoshone Falls and the Snake River!
Thank you Mark we truly appreciate everything you did during our stay. The family was truly happy wi
Thank you Mark we truly appreciate everything you did during our stay. The family was truly happy with their stay at the cabin. Horseback riding was such a great memory for all of us canât wait for our next stay at your cabin.
This beautiful, secluded setting was a perfect opportunity for our family to relax and enjoy a holiday weekend together. It was clean and neat with all the comforts of home away from home. Our host was amazing and willing to show us around his property. We would love to return another time to use our ATV's on the trails and kayaks in the nearby reservoirs.
Mark was fantastic. We met him in Rogerson and e brought us to the property. Along the way he told us of places out in the country to explore and a little history of the area. Once we arrived at the property he showed us around. The ranch house was fantastic and well equipped. The property was really great. It was quiet and secluded. You could hear the cows in the distance and could see the livestock in the meadows in the distance. At night the amount of stars you could see was phenomenal. The home was relaxing and exactly what we needed to unwind. We explored the area and saw plenty of animals from deer, rabbits, hawks, osprey just to name a few. We will definitely be booking again.
Mark Geary lead us to the ranch and explained how everything worked. Our ninth year get together was a great success. The ranch was nothing less than awesome we had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone. Thank you again mark for being such a gracious host and having such a beautiful ranch to let us rest and relax. Jim John and Steve

Wonderful
We enjoyed the solitude, beautiful scenery, great home and the owner went out of his way to make our stay a great one. It takes a little time to get there but didn't mind that at all. Very peaceful and relaxing. Decorations were lovely. My brother and sister and I all plan on going back. It is a working sheep ranch and we enjoyed watching the sheep and their antics.

Outstanding!!!
We rented this wonderful home for a week vacation âmy brothers and nephewâ they drove from Washington state and I meet them at the home from Oregon , the home was easy to find and the directions were as described.
If you decide to rent the awesome cabin dont bring anything but your food and your close , you will need nothing else , it has everything and I mean everything! Good internet and a landline , no cell service from the house. It has and wonderful deck and patio furniture to sit and watch the sunrise and to enjoy the Mountain Viewâs behind the house , if you like to hike or ATV youâll love this desert ranch.
I cant speak highly enough about the owner Mark who came out on the first day and welcomed us and told us the history of the ranch and the area and to ensured we had everything we needed. âGreat Hostâ
