"Our biggest complaint is that the TV in the room didn't work. It wasn't just our room, it was the whole property. The first day we arrived and it wasn't working, the staff said they were working on getting it fixed. The next day we saw a Xfinity truck so we had hope it was going to be fixed, but no. Xfinity said nothing was wrong on their end. The message on the screen said the device was not activated. We stayed FIVE nights and it was not fixed when we left. Of course we weren't there to watch TV, but at night we want to turn on the TV to relax. This wouldn't have been an issue if the TV's in the room were smart TV's so we could login to our streaming apps. But they were not. We ended up using our laptop to have something on at night but this was really disappointing. My other complaints are that the pool is VERY SMALL and I don't believe there is any chlorine in the pool. I'm also not sure that it was a heated pool, although they would put a cover over it that heats the water. We stayed in the hotel rooms and the bathroom is soooo small. There was hardly any water pressure from the shower and there wasn't much variation in water temperature. We were supposed to get clean sheets after 3 days but I don't think that happened. The property is just old and outdated. The beach is amazing and close! So if that's all you care about, maybe it's perfect! There are some restaurants close but you mostly have to drive to them. The staff person that I talked to was very nice. "

"Check in was great. Got us in early when ee asked. Cute retro decor. Close to shops abd restaurants in Tybee."

"First and foremost, the front office staff is absolutely amazing! Pleasant and happy with a smile every time I saw them. Thanks, ladies! As for the room, it was super clean and fresh, including the floors, the fridge and microwave. Hot water with good pressure in the shower. Bed was comfy. and best of all, a super short walk to the beach! This is my new favorite place. Thank you Sandcastle! See you guys next week. "

"you couldn’t see the ocean I couldn’t hear the ocean, he couldn’t sit on the patio because the chairs are tattered and it cuts into your legs. I did not enjoy staying there."

"We had a good time. The only disappointment was the pool had a lot of leaves. It was nice and warm and the younger adults enjoyed lounging and chatting. I’d suggest having a pool vacuum and or a cover. "
