These are wonderfully convenient accommodations during Azalea Trails, Rose Festival, Canton First Monday and other East Texas favorites.

    By appointment, you can take a stroll through my Holly Cottage Gardens, an English garden registered in the Archives of American Gardens at the Smithsonian Institution.

    Holly Cottage is a 2-bedroom historic carriage house. Marvelous details include 1 queen bed, and 1 full bed. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a hair dryer, AC, heating, WiFi, and a washer/dryer machine. The historic bathroom has its original claw-foot shower/tub and many other amenities. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our superb cottage.

Stepping Into the Past

If you have the opportunity to view the garden it will blow you away.The blue door, upstairs apartment, is cozy and charming. Beautifully decorated. comfortable and have nice decor.

Great place

The house is really cute. It was not a big deal for us but the listing said there were 2 doors and when we got there, we found out the 2nd door/master bedroom was an additional fee. The house is located in the historic area and the houses around it are amazing. We walked the neighborhood and looked at all the history near by. It was very quite. One issue we had we had wirh the place is the inability to remove sight rhrough all the windows. There are some 2 story houses near by and there was no way to block dBy from seeing inside. There are blinds in the bedrooms but not in the kitchen or hallway. As the bathroom has a really nice clawfoot tub. The water fets plenty hot. The house seemed thoroughly cleaned and bedding and towels seemed fresh. The house is not far from many things and i would say is just outside of the main town. Esther was very quick to respond to the few questions we had.We had a very nice getaway. Would look to possibly use this rental again if we decide to come back to Tyler.

The cottage was lovely and it was easy to check-in. The owners were traveling but still managed to communicate with us to arrange a garden tour. The only slight off-note was that the cleaning products used left a strong smell but this was not a big deal. Thank you for a pleasant overnight stay!

This was our first time to book on vrbo! The place was exactly what we needed. Quiet and relaxing. We just needed a bed and bathroom but they offered a kitchen and dining area. The garden was amazing. We can't imagine how much work goes into something like that! Lots of charm, history and the claw foot bathtub was a great addition!

Host was extreme welcoming and accommodating. She was very yuck on answering questions and really made us feel she was happy we were there. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The gardens were beautiful and the tour she gave was extremely interesting.

We had a wonderful stay in Tyler. This cottage is in a very nice neighborhood, what a beautiful area! The hosts were incredibly kind, and it's obvious that they pay attention to the details. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed - kitchen and bathroom items were all provided. As others have said, the gardens are amazing. We spent 45 minutes or so in awe! If we go back to Tyler, we will not look around, this stay was perfect!! We will stay here again if possible. Thank You Esther for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Very enjoyable and quiet guest apartment. There are stunning historical homes in this neighborhood. This two bedroom plus a dine in kitchen second floor guest quarters was a perfect accommodation while visiting friends in Tyler.
