I had to plan ahead a stay in Tyler Texas to be in a more comfortable setting before undergoing cataract surgery at Heaton Eye Associates in Tyler Texas. Fairfield Inn was spot on! Staff VERY COURTEOUS and helpful, above and beyond! Not gonna lie, tv options via cable very limited. I hope they improve tv options. I Suggest bringing your own personal soaps/shampoos if skin sensitive. Breakfast Very good, clean, well stocked, hospitable service. Will definitely be staying here again!

Great for business travel

When i arrived after full day of travel they said they did not have a room for me. I was shocked! I said I went through Expedia paid and reserved my one week stay they said they don’t guarantee rooms through 3rd party vendors!! I was livid and shocked. They said they would have to charge me again and I said you are kidding me. The front desk person said she will talk to the manager. Very sketchy there. I didn’t feel safe.

Pool very run down cracks in the bottom of the pool and ladders cracked. Hot tub had slime floating in it and didn't work. The ceiling tiles were falling down. In our room half the plugs didn't work, the bathroom light above the mirror only flickered on for a second and then turns off. The plugs covers falling off the wall and the plugs themselves loose. Staff was great and polite.
