Right by the lake in the beautiful neighborhood Fornudden 20 minutes from the Citycenter of Stockholm and 40min to the Airport is this gem located.
The small house is newly built with a terrace overlooking the lake with a BBQ. There are two parking lots right next to the house. Great bus communication to central Stockholm(30min). Local shops and restaurants are only walking distance.
Famous Viking graves are just 150meters away. Two bikes are included. Small beach are near by.
Fornudden is a very beautiful and calm neighborhood with mostly houses with families that enjoy outdoor activities and sports. You can swim in the lake and a beach is just around the corner. In Fornuddsparken, a park nearby is a soccer field, a large playground and an outdoor gym. There is also a popular pond for all the birds.
Viking graves
The house is built in the neighborhood Fornudden in Trollbäcken, Tyresö. It is actually built right at Fornudden, which means ancient cape. At the end of cape, just 100m from the house you will find Viking graves that are more than 1000years old. Take a walk around the cape and you will find a spectacular area with many Viking piles which is how they buried the Vikings with weapons and treasures.
The lake
The lake is called Drevviken and are one of the largest lakes in Stockholm. It is a great fishing lake with lots of pike, perch and pike-perch. Kayak paddling is very popular, and you can actually paddle through a system of lakes and rivers to the archipelago. During wintertime the lake is great for Ice-skating and Ice fishing.
Stores & restaurants
Two good grocery stores close by, bakery's, deli shops and lots of restaurants around Trollbäckens centrum.
Tyresta National Park
The nature reserve Tyresta is only 15minutes away. The reserve is characterized by a rift valley landscape which is typical for central Sweden but unique in an international perspective. The park has been protected to preserve its noted natural values as one of the largest sections of untouched forest in Sweden, and to safeguard its importance for recreation. Some parts of the forest containing pine trees up to 400 years old and Up to 8,000 species of animals can be found.
There are several lakes and dams in the area which is great for hiking, skiing and just exploring the nature. There are also several mountain bike trails. The area is 47 km2 (18 sq mi).
Tyresö Palace
The 1700 century palace is only 20 minutes away. The palace was built in the 1620s by Lord High Steward Gabriel Oxenstierna in a national romantic way. It is now a museum owned by the Nordic Museum and is opened for guided tours during the summer. The Palace also has a mixture of an English park with a Swedish floral meadow and images from a fairy tale - with the ancient forest as its ultimate source of inspiration.
Stockholm Archipelago
is only 20 minutes away. It has 24.000 islands and has a unique fauna. Visiting the larger islands in the archipelago is easy all year round, but during winter period the routes depend on the ice conditions. Several companies have regular routes. The largest ship owner company is Waxholmsbolaget owned by the Stockholm County government.
Golf
If you are interested in playing golf we have two great 18 hole courts close by, Tyresö Golfbana with 18 holes is only 10 minutes away and Haninge Golfbana with 27 holes is 25 minutes away. Haninge is a fantastic golf course that use to host the PGA Tour. There are almost 60 golf courses in the greater Stockholm Area from 25min-1hr away.
Biking
