"Lovely place, shame swimming pool closed at 6 every day. Some furniture in the villa should be replaced as broken and very worn. Staff friendly and polite."
"The ”& Spa” is a bit of a scam. Apparently the spa area is so small that you have to book well in advance. I booked the hotel for one night for the sole reason to be able to use the spa on arrival. We came on a beginning of December Sunday afternoon with nearly nobody at the hotel, but still got the news that we could not use the spa as it was ”fully booked for the whole evening”."
"There was a calm, genteel feel to the hotel and grounds, a sense of grandeur past. The staff were helpful and polite. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast in the gardens.
It would have been good to have some help taking heavy bags up the stone stairs as there did not seem to be a lift/elevator."

"We had a wonderful 2 weeks at this beautiful house. Communication with the owner was exceptional.
Marie showed us around on arrival and was lovely and helpful.
The house is very spacious and extremely well equipped. The toys and books for children were great.
Everywhere was very clean and it has a lovely homely feel. The garden is beautiful full with flowers, fruit and vegetables which were able to pick and use, they were delicious. The swimming pool is just fabulous, shallow enough for children and also deep enough for adults to swim. The pool was cleaned and gardens were attended to whilst we stayed.
The location is fantastic, secluded in a lovely area with great walks. We would love to return here in the future.
