"It is right on the beach with lots of oceanview rooms. It's on the rainforest side so beautiful mountains and nice breezes. In the offseason the food options on the property are limited, but adequate. It's right near an amazing RTJ designed golf course which is beautiful. It is dark at night on that side of the island, and I was not comfortable enough to drive at night, but there is plenty of daylight to explore, then unwind at the resort in the evening. I highly recommend it and would stay there again."

"This trip was amazing from start to finish. We were blown away by the view, and the amazing part is that every room has the same beautiful view of the bay. This was an older style resort, with an island boho vibe. The room was clean, not one bug in sight the whole 6 days! Watch out for the lizards and chameleons though lol. The only issue we came across was the shower water, it switched to very hot to very cold … we kept it on cold and it worked out to be warm, so we just did that the rest of the days. The vibe on the beach was so peaceful and chill. We are introverts and this was exactly what vibe we needed. We ate dinner at the onsite restaurant/bar and the food was amazing! The beach chairs under the real trees is so beautiful and peaceful, it wasn’t too busy either, maybe a little more on ship days, but the men working there always helped us find the best spot on the beach. Everyone was so helpful and kind. It was nice to slow down for a week and I’d pick this spot every time. Not to mention all the activities that are right there to do ( water activities and huge water jump float, water car, and so much more). My opinion… Magens bay don’t have nothing on Emerald beach."

"The view from our room 411 was excellent. The bathroom was great/clean, AC works great and towels and amenities was provided. The only thing I wish was a little bit firmer bed ( a sagging bed)."
