Son muy amables, serviciales, atentos, queridos, el lugar es muy tranquilo pero hay algo que nos inquietó y es que tienen unos perros rotweiller amarrados y son condiciones podrían ser mejores, es un lunar a la vista que no es muy agradable. "This is a unique property with a remarkable owner who will make you feel at home. The property has an excellent location, being only a couple of blocks from the a stunning Basilica of Chiquinquira and a lively square full of bars and restaurants. There's also an attractive "ecoturistico", los Currucuyes, the John Paul 2nd park and mountain cycle routes used by some of the best cyclists in the world. Colombian cyclists who compete every year in the tour de France etc., train on these routes.!"

"This is not such paradise. Don't be deceived by the owner who misrepresents this place in the description and photos. For example, the owner doesn't disclose that this place lacks proper restrooms, and that it's next to one of the most polluted areas in Colombia -because of the brick's industries next to the property that pollute the air all day and night :(
On top of that, the owner double-booked our room and we ended-up with no hotel."

"Property and house was excellent. Wanted a place away from the city, that was quiet and would provide the comforts of home. Luis, was an excellent host and put a lot of attention into this beautiful home. Melba was excellent and will accommodate any and all needs, amazing cook. Guardian the dog of the property, is playful and was bringing us company along the property. We enjoyed amazing sunsets with a warm cup of coffee. Overall it was an amazing experience."

"I had a short layover in Bogotá and wanted to spend it in a calm, natural setting just outside the city. Staying at Laguna de Guatavita was an absolutely spectacular experience. The cabin is nestled in lush greenery, offering total peace and quiet—yet it's surprisingly easy to get in and out of Bogotá, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle without feeling remote.
The accommodation strikes a rare and wonderful balance: high-standard amenities in a traditional, nature-filled environment. Everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay was thoughtfully provided.
One of the true highlights of the experience was meeting Jorge. He’s an outstanding host—fully fluent in English and German, incredibly well-travelled, and deeply passionate about Colombia and his home city. His affinity for healthy living, yoga, mindful eating, and life coaching made our conversations all the more meaningful and enriching. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that he offers private tours of Bogotá and the surrounding areas, which I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting a more personal, in-depth experience of the region.
Whether you're a visitor or a local looking for a quiet retreat, I recommend this property without any hesitation."
