This spacious hotel was a lovely place to be. With all the expected Balinese amenities, this one boast incredible staff, a large pool great for families and couples as well as perfectly manicured gardens. Set amongst the picturesque rice paddies, this hotel transports you to a simpler time. With various rooms offered some newly renovated others that are like villa's there is something here for everyone.

I absolutely loved my stay. If I ever come back to bali, I'd for sure consider going to this hotel. The staff were super friendly. The room was very spacious and the garden/pool/rice farm were gorgeous. A short ride from the shopping center and the monkey forest. They also had shuttle bus every few hours to the center. The rooms were clean and when I was staying, it seemed that they were renovating some of the rooms which would make them even nicer.

Food is amazing. Pool side is relaxing and staff so helpful and friendly. Rooms are lovely and spacious, grounds are beautiful. Only thing would be the showers are a bit old but over all we will be back and disappointed we only stayed one night. If you’re considering don’t give it a second thought if you’re wanting relaxing and chilled. We traveled with two families children from 3-16

The front door was warped and barely shut. The doors had gaps in them letting outside air in. You have to keep the bathroom door shut because there are mesh windows in the bathroom that let hot air in. They were doing construction in the room below was loud as well. The front desk people were annoying and kept calling when I told them what I was doing. One older guy at the front desk charged me 50k for another room key. I found it and brought it back when I checked out. They said he shouldn’t have done that but wouldn’t give me money back and there wasn’t a receipt of it. The only positives about your place were the ladies from room service. They were super nice. You should make them front desk people. I don’t know how this place has a 8.8 rating.

Comfortable and great staff

We were supposed to stay here 3 nights but extended with another night because it was wonderful. Not too far from the centre and the staff is super super friendly. Has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. Everyday water bottles are provided which is very nice. Breakfast tasted nice, I would book it with the room because otherwise it’s quite pricey. Bed was comfy and our room had both a shower and bath which was nice. I would recommend this place!

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been! Nice clean big room, large beautiful garden! Helpful and very friendly staff!! The only thing I did not understand is - my first morning breakfast was free but was charged for my second. Actually I didn’t expect free breakfast for quite low rate booking from Expedia for such good hotel! It’s more than worthy ! I strongly recommend this hotel!

This is a beautiful property in the jungle just outside Ubud. For the price you can’t be that, but there are some things that you may not like for example the Wi-Fi is not very strong there’s a lot of oxidation and wear and tear on the buildings. Like cracked doors and oxidize toilet bowls. The deck around the pool is kind of a death trap and you might even fall through the wood planks. The plus side is the location and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I paid $25 a night plus tax and honestly I can’t complain too much but my key was constantly being demagnetized. The electricity in my room kept flashing on and off and they were able to fix it but I doubt it was up to code lol. There’s no elevator so if you’re on a second story someone will help you but it can be a little bit of a hassle. The restaurant is good but has a limited menu. Overall I give it like a C A for a Quetion spot but kind of a D for up keep

Mooie accomodatie aan de zuidrand van Ubud. Shuttle service naar het centrum is handig. Houd er rekening mee dat Ubud een hele drukke stad is geworden met veel verkeer. Personeel was aardig en attent.

Stained Sheets

Staff was friendly during check in. They did an amazing job with decorating ross petals on our bed. Although our biggest issue is the stained sheets! We had to ask like 3 times for them to finally change our sheets and the “new clean pair” they gave us had even more stains! So we asked again and they seemed annoyed. You also have to ask a few times for them to clean your room. The bathroom does get extremely hot. Breakfast was basic nothing special. We stayed at Natya Hotel in Kuta which was only about $20 a night and that place was way more clean and had a way better breakfast selection even though we paid around $55 for this place. The pool was big and nice be careful of bugs and especially spiders everywhere. They also have a shuttle service but the down side is you cannot contact them once they drop you off. We were harassed by the taxi drivers around 20 of them and just wanted to go back to the hotel but no way to contact them. I would not stay here again.

The hotel was very nice, in great shape and the hotel area was very relaxing and calm. We were there with our daughter who is almost two years old and the kid area in the swimming pool was very nice. The hotel offers free yoga twice a week and their breakfast buffet didn’t need anything. In additional their juices and smoothies were delicious. The hotel offers shuttle in to the city Ubud, by light traffic it takes around 10-15 min. We would definitely come back.

1 problem was: at 5 AM cleaning /wiping of the street outside just in front of rooms wake people up! Too early to make noise. Also thin walls in rooms- you can hear neighbors talk. But other things are good: nice and spaceous room, good breakfast, green surrounding frindly staff.

My husband & I spent 3 days at Bhuwana Ubud & had a great time. It is a well maintained property with lots of beautiful trees & a lovely clean pool. The room was quite spacious with comfortable beds & soft pillows. As for the bathroom it was nice & clean but the shower wasn’t great. The food was prepared with fresh vegetables & fruit from their garden so we enjoyed it very much. The staff were very friendly & helpful too. We would definitely recommend this place to holiday makers who enjoy a peaceful & tranquil environment surrounded by nature.
