Super friendly staff. Spacious. Be prepared to share your bathroom with frogs 🐸 as it is open. Deep steps to get to the restaurant from room as on cliff edge. We personally like the jungle vibe, though probably not first pick with children or elderly. Close to town, though not walking distance. Breakfast included.

Luwak Estate was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left it was just awesome. We were welcomed with nice cold drinks after a late arrival n car trip. I would highly recommended this resort. Villa was so beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Food was great as well. I had a pedicure from the spa which was done by Susanthi. Highly recommend her service. Ari and Agun were amazing in organising the site vist tour for us. Agun took care of us very well during the tour. Honestly can't fault a single thing with this resort. We had a lovely time.

We are a family of four who have stayed here for five days and wish we could have stayed longer. This is a fantastic place! The service is incredibly good and friendly. The manager and his team went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The massages we received were top-notch, and the food is presented like works of art. The rooms and private pool were very nice. Highly recommended!

The staff really went out of there way to make sure our stay was comfortable & exceeded expectations! Only thing i didnt know is that rooms are not "together". Booked a 2 bedroom & my room was in one private space & 2nd bedroom was maybe 10 steps outside. But its a private space with a separate outside living room with kitchen & your own private pool

The three bedroom villa is located on street level, backing to a busy road. Even late at night you can still hear motorcycles passing. There is a rattling sound from the window in the 3rd bedroom as well from the vibration of the air conditioning. Just make sure to bring ear plug if you are staying in the 3 bedroom villa. The villa is clean, but bedding, linen, especially pillows definitely need updating. There is a persistent musky smell on the bedding, and unpleasant smell coming from the pillows. I have informed the front desk, and resorted to use extra towels to cover the pillows. There is no water dispenser in the villa, and no cutlery provided in the kitchen too. We did request to the restaurant which were provided promptly, but it’ll be good to provide some basic cutlery in the kitchen. Staffs, food (restaurant), and massage were excellent.

Pure Indulgence

We had a 3 bedroom villa (own pool, dining and kitchen) for 6 girls on a birthday getaway. Luwak was terrific, they planned a birthday party with balloons, flowers, and greetings like no other. The location was wonderfully peaceful and quiet, yet only a short walk to Ubud. The free shuttle was excellent, the staff could not be faulted and the food beautiful (have the breakfast in your villa). I am already planning to go back to Ubud and will stay at Luwak Villa's.

it's 1hr away from the city centre of ubud so it's really quiet but the downside is that you can't go out after dinner. good if you want the peace since unusual city centre is nothing to shout about anyway..

This is our second visit. A cosy place just out of town that has everything one could need. The villas are spacious, have great outdoor areas, a good kitchen area, useful if you want to self cater, and a good sized swimming pool. The staff are lovely. A great group of people who endeavour to meet your every need. You can book tours, hire cycles, and even get a scooter delivered; all you have to do is ask. We thoroughly enjoyed our stays and would have no hesitation in returning.

Lovely staff, great villa

The staff at Luwak are amazing, so helpful and helped make our stay enjoyable. The villa is on the outskirts of Ubud, so it is peaceful, but close to all the sights of Ubud - the shuttle bus makes it easy to get around and then return to the peace of Luwak. The bedrooms are separate and open onto the pool, our kids are older so not an issue, but would be if you had younger children. Our kids got worried on one of the first nights being separate from us, but settled after that
