Exclusive time in Ubud

The hotel was stylish and well thought out down to the smallest detail, as the owner is an architect. There are only 20 rooms on the large property, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again!

We had the most magical stay. Even after we checkout out we decided to forgo our other reservation and check back in. The staff is incredible! They are all on a groups WhatsApp and are more than accommodating. The grounds are magical but what makes this place so special are the people and the experiences they offer. We took a cooking class, had massages, enjoyed the gym, a photo session with professional photographer and the food was incredible. We also watched the local dance and dinner show. What a stay!!!

1st let me be honest. The photos and description online left me in doubt if I should book this place. But I have rarely seen a hotel get such high rating from so many reviews..so out of curiosity decided to take a chance and I am so glad I did. We stayed at one of the 2 bedroom villa with pool and it was amazing. The property grounds are beautifully layed out then found out the story that it started as a personal property of renowned architect.. it is one of the most serene and beautiful place we have evey stayed. The staff is very good and really took good care. Its close to Ubud downtown yet breaks away from the hustle bustle of the town. The amenities provided are beyond par. Would definitely recommed and revisit for a stay in the future.

The smoothest and most professional hotel experience we've had. Everything was on point - from the beauty of the surroundings to the whole staff. I think we ended up trying pretty much all services Tanah Gajah offers and each and every step they delivered. We ended up changing our upcoming winter holidays to visit them again.

There is nothing left to expect! Just when you thought that you experienced the pinnacle of grace and hospitality… there was just a little bit more from this remarkable property. Our second visit here and we couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Ubud. It’s moments to town and yet seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Peaceful, gracious and delicious. It’s honestly what you were hoping your Bali trip would be. It’s all right here.

The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah is on the edge of Ubud. The 20 villas are set on a beautiful and natural site with rice paddys, birds and a well manicured site. The service of the dedicated butler is fantastic and the meals and entertainment are wonderful. There are no additional costs sneaking onto your bill as the mini-bar is free and always stocked! The breakfast is delicious with any add-ons you would like just for the asking. The 5-10 minute shuttle into town is always available and they provide a cell phone for you to contact them for a return trip. It is truly a 5 Star hotel as it meets all of the quality and service requirements, but puts itself ahead of nearly every other 5 star by providing an attentive and personal touch to that service.
