Best place to stay in Ubud that is affordable. Breakfast was amazing every day, the best banana pancakes in all Bali! Putu was an amazing host and the family is welcoming and friendly. The room had basic amenities and it was clean. The guesthouse is near many restaurants and the Monkey forest. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great family owned hotel - a hidden gem! My room was lovely with a balcony and a great view. It was a bit small, but for the price, you get great value in terms of the walkable and quiet but central location. The family is soo nice as well! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Amazing stay with perfect location. Only 5 minutes from monkey sanctuary. The room was very nice with a lovely view and the host is so kind. We also took a tour of Ubud offered by the host for a good price and loved the experience.

I recommend this place so much. First of all, the owners are so nice and take such good care of you. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are very clean and nice. The view from the top floor is absolutely amazing. Very close to Monkey Forest and everything else you need

In my opinion one of the best places you can book in Ubud. Fantastic location in the heart of everything. The hosts were so incredibly kind. The room was gorgeous. For the price, you can't do better than this.

Our stay at this guest house really made our visit to Bali even more memorable. The level of service and genuine care was exceptional. They went above and beyond during our stay and I could feel they warmth and geniune care. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. Truly enjoyed our stay here. Great location conveniently located close to shops and dining. Extraordinary find and great value.

Putu the manager of the Umah Anila guesthouse is extremely nice, helpful and polite. Every morning she prepared a lovely breakfast and always make sure that everything is fine with us. The room is basic and comfortable and very clean. There is a hot water in the shower which is a plus. The location is great as is very close to all amenities. I highly recommend the Umah Anila guest house.

Stayed at Umah Anila for 4 nights. Positive: the owners are really nice and friendly as well as the location is good. Negative: this place needs a good renovation - everything is falling apart - the drawers are broken, no hangers, the restroom door wasn't closing (the handle was broken), aircon was leaking on the bed (so I had to turn it off during the night). After addressing these complains to the owners, they said it will be fixed next day, but nothing was done except I've got the hangers. Wouldn't stay there again.

Great bed, best wifi!

My stay at Umah Anila was perfect! The bed was a nice firm tempur pedic bed and the wifi was amazing so I could take video calls from my room. The room is bare bones so bring your own soaps and hairdryer but for the price, that's understandable. It's also tucked away on a quiet street so you'll be able to sleep and you will need to roll your suitcase to end of the street to meet cars but that's Ubud so no big deal there. The family is so kind and will offer you daily breakfast and anything else you might need during your stay - like a ride to the airport!

Umah Anila was the first of 4 home stays I used while in Indonesia and it was very nice. The family is lovely, the premises are clean and it is located close to everything in Ubud but not loud (except for the roosters….welcome to Bali!). I enjoyed the banana pancakes and fresh fruit in the morning. I stayed in room 2…. the shower drained, the a/c worked well and the soap and shampoo/cond in pumps is a lovely touch. Yes the linen and towels are showing wear but I found this everywhere in Indonesia. They still work and are clean.

モンキー・フォレストに近くロケーションがとても良かったです。ハノマン通りに目印の看板があり、通りから少し入った静かな場所にありました。小さな寺院に隣接しており、1階は鯉が泳いでいたり、食品の店舗もあって地元の方も買いに来ていました。ホテルのスタッフの方もとても親切でした。

Sköna sängar. Badrumsdörren gick inte att stänga och var i sönder. Glasdörrarna till rummet var öppna på sidorna och kändes inte säkra fast vi låst. Personalen var trevlig. Frukosten var ok. Läget var centralt med gångavstånd till det vi ville. Helt ok för 2-3 nätter.

We LOVED this place. Breakfast is delicious and location is super convenient, walking distance from Monkey Forrest, Yoga barn and lots of cafes and restaurants. Putu (hope I’m spelling her name correctly) is lovely and her family very friendly, not to mention the reasonable price for a clean room and the nice view. We will stay again if we ever come back to Ubud.

Propreté irréprochable, draps changés tous les 2 jours, ménage quotidien. Peu d’intimité sur la terrasse, les autres voyageurs déambulent devant votre chambre pour gagner la leur. De la chambre on entend l’écoulement de la douche de la chambre d’à côté on ne peut pas jeter le papier toilette ds la cuvette !

I loved staying here. Often I have found that places in this area look great in pictures but have a very different feel when you get there. This was not the case with Umah Anila. It was clean, comfortable, LOVELY. My room on the top floor had a beautiful view of the sunrise each morning, and I enjoyed the delicious and beautifully presented breakfast sitting there on the deck. Fresh flowers each day, my room was cleaned each day. The people were really lovely. There was some construction happening right on the other side of the deck, so there was a bit less privacy during the day, but I was mostly out during the day while they were building. It really didn't bother me. I would happily come back and stay here again.

Tout simplement parfait. Les hôtes sont aux petits soins, superbe déjeuner, location de moto et sourires. J’y suis resté 14 nuits, l’emplacement est parfais, 2 min à pied du yogaBarn, et le quartier animé à distance de marche aussi. Juste assez à distance pour être paisible. C’etait Parfait.
