- Location is beside a stagnant backwater area. - The backwater is extremely filthy and a perfect breeding ground for mosquitos. - Human waste and other filthy waste in the water around the resort causing toxic smell and environment.

Good trip

It is a good property located at a good location. The rooms was good n big . The swimming pool could have been little more deep n cleaner. It is located in the backwaters n around 1.5KMs to the Hoode beach which is clean n nice

We stayed here for 2 days and without nay doubts, it was really comfortable, peaceful and worth money. Great hospitality, great service with awesome food. Although the food menu has limited options, but the taste is too good. The staff is really helpful and co-operative. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for sanitised, clean, peaceful stay in Udupi.

its not worth for what we paid. Starting from food..Food(only Breakfast we tried) is below average, TV was not working..Swimming pool water was not clear.. We checked in at 5:30 evening and asked for late check-out of 1 hr, they were not ready to accept it.

Paradise Lagoon Vacation

The property is amazing with very courteous staff. The rooms are spacious with a good view of the back waters. Well maintained premises and Malpe beach is within 10 min of driving distance. The food is average with limited choice. However you can get a lot of restaurants in Manipal and around which is approx 25 min drive from the resort.

Rundown, shabby, not clean. The owner has loud parties going on till 1 in the morning, staff don't care. Broken facilities in rooms, such as a mosquite guard on the door. Phone in room didn't work. Most items not on the food menu in the restaurant. Water level in "infinity pool" way below level it should be. Not relaxing at all. Terrible.

Hotel where the name says it all!

We had a fantastic weekend stay in Paradise Lagoon. I feel it is a hidden gem close to Udupi and just over an hour drive from Mangalore. It is a well maintained place with excellent service and a view to kill. The Hoode beach which is about 20 mins walking distance is again a clean and nice beach that is worth a visit. The food service can be improved but overall it is a great place to unwind over a long weekend.
