Our room offered a beautiful view over Lake Constance and we slept very well. Everything was very clean and their breakfast was great. They offer a day pass for public transportation, which was very useful. All amenities were well maintained and very nice.

Great hotel. First class. No air conditioning and no place to walk to. You need a car to stay here.

Nice area to be around and the ambiance of the restaurant wasn't too loud either. I checked in in the evening and the receptionist was pleasant to talk to.

The room was pretty dated and the floors weren’t very clean (had some sort of grit on them). The rooms I saw online were not what we got. The Seehotel restaurant was good and lots of walkable lakefront, park and restaurants nearby.

Clean and big rooms!

This hotel in the gorgeous park next to the Napoleon museum provides good basic accommodation with great breakfast.

Many thanks to the staff and mostly the chef. My wife and I were staying at the hotel and were quite intimidated to the fact that we spoke no German. During the dinner time meal, the Chef was the staff member that was taking care of us because of our limited (none) communication skills. He took the time to talk and get to know what we were interested in as well as where we were from. He showed us different attractions for sight seeing, even those little known about accept to the locals. ...

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They told us that payment of the Kur taxe (part of the hotel bill) included free bus rides into Friedrichshafen which was very helpful as the bus stop was in front of the hotel. In addition, the breakfast was great.

Excellent location and food

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, maintained, staff was fine, breakfast was a good spread and staff was busy keeping it stocked each morning.

We were in a crunch for a nice room near the water so we could get a swim in and then also dinner and a good night sleep. We were placed in the “old” building but it had lovely historic character. And although no AC, we had several Windows to open and a fan. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, as was breakfast. And the 8 minute walk to the park and water access was perfect.

The only one missing was an AC in the room because of the actual heat situation … but the windows could be opened
