"We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing. They accommodated out late check in and vegan made special a vegan breakfast fit for a queen. You won't be staying in the castle but in the building they have right beside. The area is quite peaceful. Very German ! "

The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem der augenscheinlich ältesten Fachwerkhäuser Rudolstadts mitten im Zentrum in einer Seitengasse der Fußgängerzone. Die Wohnung ist neuwertig renoviert (mit Badewanne, leider ohne Dusche) und verbindet den historischen Charme mit modernem Komfort. Sie ist liebevoll ausgestattet und verfügt über ausreichende Mengen der typischen Verbrauchsmaterialien (zB genügend Klopapierrollen, zzgl. hochwertige Duschgels). Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank! "
