"Je le conseille vivement si vous devez visiter le Pays Basque. Position centrale, les principaux sites sont à 30, 45 min de route et cela permet de revenir au calme tous les soirs. "We were informed an hour or so before check in that they had to change the unit booked. The unit given in nothing resembled the one on the pictures. Not worth the price we paid for the unit. Old kitchen, old towels (were white some time ago). After a long trip not even a roll of toilet paper. No more communication with host after check in. Just a terrible experience. "

"My friend and I stayed at this apartment during the festival week while visiting Pamplona for the running of the bulls. Not only did the apartment meet our needs perfectly, the location was perfect, and the host were very helpful with transportation to and from the train station, as well as leaving us very thoughtful gifts. We loved our stay and would return to this flat again."

"Flop house in a central location. Maybe ok for large drunken groups, but not great for kids. The good: Host was kind and accommodated our late arrival. We could just barely see the bull run at end of street from balcony. Cons: no hot water, one shower broken, many exposed electrical wires and outlets. Broken furniture and finishings. Mould in the bathroom, strong cigarette smell in bedroom and a very high cost. "

"Very well equipped apartment our host Anne Mairie came to meet us in the town centre as the map on the website was totally wrong, probably should have used the Co-ordinates. She also provided a lovely Basque gateau and pate. A lovely apartment and beautiful walks straight out the door."

"I stayed at Hotel Leyre during San Fermin, not for the first time. It is always my first choice due to proximity to the Plaza de Toros and the standard of accommodation. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Buffet breakfast is wonderful - something for everyone! Highly recommended. "

"Hotel room was perfect for not spending a lot of time in the room! Just around the corner from the bus that took us into city center for San Fermin festivities. Very convenient. When our bus didn’t show up once, hotel staff helped us to arrange a taxi quickly. Nothing flashy about the guest room but we didn’t need much because we were in Pamplona enjoying the fiesta! "

"I stayed here for the San Fermin festival and I stayed for 12 days in this hotel. What truly stood out was the service. Every staff member I encountered—from the front desk to the restaurant—was courteous and eager to help. They even went out of their way to accommodate a last-minute request I had with no hassle. This was one of the most comfortable and enjoyable hotel stays I’ve had. I highly recommend el toro hotel to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and exceptional service. They even provide free shuttle service during the festival. I would suggest they change the menu for breakfast buffet in the morning but other than that everything was amazing 😊"
