"This was perfect for a quick place to rest in-between our adventures outside. The location is great and is a short drive to many places. We couldn't predict the weather, so it was a little cold. However, the heaters in the cabin helped. Thank you!"

"Had a great time. Property met expectations we'd have when it comes to cabins. Our sons (11yrs, 4yrs at the time of this stay) loved the ping pong table. Cabin had everything we needed. It was a great location for us to visit all the surrounding state parks. We did notice the sulfur smell with the water but, as campers and visitors to other cabins, we come to expect this at certain locations. Thanks for having us."

"We loved this place. For being rustic, everything was well thought of to make this a relaxing and refreshing experience. When leaving, we felt a bittersweet feeling. We enjoyed the wildlife and taking walks. A lovely area! The one thing it needed...cows on the hillside with bells around their necks! As I said in the beginning, we LOVED this place! "

"The Octagon was a great venue for a Memorial Day Weekend trip of eight life-long friends. Our 47th year! The house was perfect sized and offering room to hang out inside as well as outside by the fire pit. We cooked three dinners and found the kitchen perfect for our needs. Very secluded and no fear of disturbing neighbors with music or yelling during horseshoes matches. The Tioga Golf Club was just minutes down the road and the bike trip down the Pine Creek Canyon was easy but beautiful. A great place."

"Husband and I quickly planned a little getaway and we were pleasantly surprised at this little cabin. It had all the necessities you could ask for including fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, gorgeous view of river and fantastic outdoor screened in porch. Two restaurants within a few minutes as well. Access to the creek as well. We would definitely book again! Oh and everything was very clean! "

"Excellent hospitality and communication! We got a spacious 3-bed with a pond view room. The facilities are gorgeous and well-kept. Kayla on staff is fantastic and communicates every detail you could need for your stay. Also highly recommend the breakfast offered by the motel!"

"We had a fabulous stay. There was a welcome danish and a nice note when we walked in. The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was a little chilly outside so we didn't get to utilize the fire pits or the deck overlooking the river. We did walk down and check it out and the pit down there was fully stocked of wood. The dogs loved running and playing in the huge back yard. There was plenty of room inside to hang out and we had plenty of room to not hang out as well. Barb was great and informative and responded to my many many questions quickly. We already discussed going back up this way to do the river again in the near future and will definitely be re-booking."
