Fabulous stay

I come every year on business and I always come back to the Elite Mimer. I travel a lot as part of my job, but I get hands down the best sleep here. Mattresses you sink into, excellent showers and full length baths to soak weary bones. The restaurant is incredible too- cannot recommend highly enough!

Beautiful former school - the renovation maintained the character, yet it is very comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere. Room ceiling is very high. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Best hotel of our two week trip!

A mediocre experience with a lot of potential

Not the best, not the worst; the hotel staff is friendly and professional - the woman working the breakfast was working hard to keep up with all the guest, they should be able to have more staff during breakfast to keep the level a bit higher. The rooms are fine, the bed is ok and so is the breakfast.

A clean hotel with reasonably good location. A better than average bathroom. A little bit tricky to access by car. Not enough hangers for clothes. Information of hotel restaurant, bar and other services was not available in the room. Yard and parking area icy and slippery, because no sand was used.

Awful daily cleaning

The worst experience in Elite hotels. Daily cleaning was awful. I told to reception after the first day, but no solution for that. Actually it got worst in the second and third day.

Great staff, but terrible insulation between rooms

Intressant att bo i ett hotel där 2 av våra döttrar hade gått i konstlinje på gymnasiet.Personal var utmärkt fina och tillmötesgående och hjälpsam. Men ljud isolering var väldigt dålig!! Man kunde höra TV i rummen bredvid, och höra också när dörrarna i rummen bredvid slog till! Väldigt störande! Frukost buffé var riklig och smakrigt och vänligt serverat, men i början var det inte så lätt att hitta var alla saker var. Men personalen hjälpte till. It was interesting to stay in a hotel where 2 of our daughters had taken the high school art program in Mimerskola long before it became a hotel. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and fresh. But the sound insulation was quite inferior! One could hear the TV in the room(s) beside and also when the doors of the rooms next door slammed shut.! Very disturbing. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious and courteously served, though in the beginning, it was not the easiest to find where everything was situated. But staff helped out.

Fin byggnad, billiga sängar

Fin byggnad, flott lobby, relaxavdelning, fullt gym o.s.v. Väldigt bra frukost i fin restaurang. Men, lite tråkigt att betala extra för deluxerum "med ljudisolering" för att hamna på bottenplan med fönster rakt mot en bussterminal där bussar konstant stod på tomgång. Hörde brummande hela kvällen och morgonen. Varmt i rummet men kunder inte vädra. Sen känns det som Elite Hotel satsar på konceptet "Fina, flotta byggnader – fruktansvärt obekväma, billiga sängar". Sov väldigt dåligt och vaknade med värk i kroppen. Sen var det problem med duschen/badkaret som inte tömdes så det fylldes med vatten. Fick hjälp av trevlig kvinna i receptionen men hon kunde inte lösa det, så vi hänvisades att duscha i relaxavdelningen. Kändes lite sådär... Jag brukar säga att det viktigaste i ett hotell är hur bra man sover och jag sov ganska kass som följd av oväsen och obekväm säng så inte bästa hotellerfarenheten.

Hotellet var superbra, sköna sängar och bra frukost. På kvällen var vi och åt en god middag, det enda negativa var besticken som ”rullade ” i handen. Sedan var man inte riktigt så uppmärksam ifrån servitörerna som man kanske hade önskat. Bröd fick vi be om och sedan var det snålt med potatis så vi fick be om påfyllning.

Var väldigt dammigt uppe på skåp och andra överkanter, såsom sängstomme. Luften i rummet var ofräscht. Fick bett på kroppen i sängen under vistelsen. Hade inte bettmärkena när vi kom till hotellet och de försvann några dagar efter hemkomsten, så vi antar att de uppkom på hotellet.

Fint hotell med fina rum! Rent städat och lugnt. Det enda negativa var att en del saker verkade ha stått framme ganska länge vid frukosten så det såg lite torrt ut, t ex pålägg och olika röror. Det kan ha berott på att ruljansen inte varit så hög tidigare på morgonen. Hade även önskat lite mer frukt och grönsaker. Bra glutenfria alternativ! Bra läge alldeles vid centrum

Frikost på fredag var rent ut sagt bedrövlig. Rummet litet med 160cm säng fast vi beställt rum med 180cm säng. Har bott på Mimer förr så vi blev lite besviken har alla andra gånger varit 5 ⭐️
