"This was my husband and I first time to caddo lake and we love to fish and this place was perfect. The only downfall and this has nothing to do with the houseboat itself but it is docked at a boat dock that is also part of uncertain lodge so you never know what kind of people will be utilizing the boat dock while you are there. We didn't have any problems but there were some young kids utilizing the boat dock and was playing loud music and not respectful that we were in the house oat trying to sleep. That will always be a hit or miss with that. Otherwise everything was a dream for my husband and I."

"Great location to boat ramp, was able to use one of the boat slips overnight. Room was clean, had everything listed there. Water pressure for the shower was awesome, especially after a long hot day out on the lake."

"As far as the cleanliness, I feel like the room should’ve been cleaned when we arrived yet the beds were not made. They still had dirty blankets and the room itself was not real clean, but it wasn’t horrible either I love this place. I will say that I would definitely go back many more times it’s a cabin so it’s to be expected that it’s not going to be 100%. I just felt like when we arrived the bed should’ve been made with clean blankets and all rather than having to ask someone to come and do it. There was plenty of parking safe parking where we could park in front of the door. It’s pet friendly a beautiful atmosphere. I would suggest this place to anyone very peaceful and other than a couple of things I would give this place five stars. As far as getting a hold of the owners, it isn’t the easiest thing but I know they were probably very busy getting it fixed up and preparing for the holiday. Great place and highly recommended for a gorgeous and peaceful adventure!"

"We were attending a family reunion at Caddo Lake and needed a house large enough for 12 people. I was having trouble finding one for my family when I found the listing for Cedar Wood Lodge. It was definitely not fancy but really had everything we needed. It was a little confusing when we got there because I had already figured out sleeping arrangements based on the pictures from the listing but one of the bedrooms had completely different beds that what was pictured. It ended up working out ok though. I hadn't noticed that there was no dishwasher but thankfully we were only staying one night so we didn't use the kitchen that much anyway. One of the beds had a broken wheel on the frame which caused the bed to lean so that was a little interesting. And the beds that our adults slept in did not have particularly good mattresses. We definitely enjoyed the use of the kayaks and canoes."
