  • 2nd story apt on 14-acres next to White Salmon River. Relax in the spacious living room, bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen & nook. Take in the fresh mountain air and views of Mt Hood, Mt Defiance, Mt Adams & occasionally deer, elk, turkeys, and eagles that cross the property. Enjoy nearby adventure, history, and agricultural/aquacultural spots or experience the many dining and shopping opportunities in neighboring towns.

    Grandfather built this home with his bare hands. Enjoy the retro and cozy feel of this space and mountain views from each window and the balcony. The scenery cannot be beat! The kitchen has everything you need to create great meals.

    Minutes to hiking, fishing, top wind surfing spots in the world, wineries, kayaking, rafting & river cruises. 1 hr to Mt Hood for skiing, snowmobiling, golfing, horseback riding, etc. Waterfalls, parks & fish hatcheries in the area for touring. Shop & dine in nearby White Salmon or Hood River

Peaceful Country Stay Less Than 10 Minutes from Hood River Bridge

Maria's place was an amazing find, surrounded by pastures and still super accessible to all of the White Salmon/Hood River attractions. The apartment was super clean and very nicely appointed. I was very comfortable and completely enjoyed my stay.

The apartment was very clean had everything you might need and was exceptionally guiet. The surrounding land was fields and trees. Evening walks down the lane were very enjoyable.

Good stay

Overall a good stay. We had a large windstorm which made for a unique issue. The unit has an a/c unit with a plastic sheeting to cover the window. This created a startling and continuous noise. The apartment is well appointed, especially if you plan to cook there.

Cozy

Comfortable and cozy. All the rooms were spacious. Vintage vibes. Beautiful view of Mt Hood. Quiet. Sitting on an upper deck looking out at Mt Hood was a highlight to our day. Taking a walk down the long lane was relaxing. We saw deer in the field next to house and the owners jad chickens and we were gifted a couple eggs for breakfast. All in all, it was a nice place, a little dated but that was the most comfortable part of staying. We would definitely stay there again!
