"The Huntley was the perfect "tree house" vacation. Great location. Beautiful home. Enjoyed the mountains while in the hot tub. Gorgeous waterfall for morning coffee. Frank, the host, was awesome. Gave great local recommendations. We did them all including horseback riding. Easy check-in. Fresh eggs in the fridge made breakfast by the waterfall awesome. Highly recommend Frank and Fairview. We would absolutely stay again."

"This home Provides Peace and Serenity. The home was clean and cozy. All the essentials were provided plus the complimentary coffee and teas were a splendid surprise. "Very clean, cute and cozy. Easy check-in and checkout. Easy to access any information needed. Mountain road getting to the cabin has multiple switch backs so take your time. Enjoyed having close access to the lake as well as the kayaks. Hot tub is lovely on the back deck. Only small annoyance was there was construction going on next door, some of the trucks going by sounded like tanks. Otherwise, wonderful place….would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others."

"We rented this cabin because we were attending a funeral for my cousin in Forest City. This cabin had beds for all 6 adults. Excellent price per night and we stayed 2 nights. Of course, the extra fees increased the cost, but split among the family members, was very reasonable. Overall, a nice place to stay together with family. CONS: Gravel roads, distant cabin, steep driveway (felt like being at the top of a roller coaster), no ice maker, plastic mattress covers on twin beds (ask me how I...

"While the house is definitely rustic, it was well equipped and the description was accurate. It was clean, and despite the lack of air conditioning on a particularly hot weekend, the house stayed a comfortable temperature using just window fans. The community is quiet and peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the wildlife while drinking our morning coffee on the front porch."

"We loved everything about our stay at Mt.Admiral’s retreat! The home is very clean, kitchen is fully stocked, and the view is spectacular. Black Mountain is a quaint mountain town with great coffee and restaurants, shopping, and hiking nearby. This was the perfect retreat to reconnect while playing games, reading, and chatting by the porch fire pit or in the hot tub. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and helpful. We hope to return soon!"
