6 night stay turned into 1 night only. Exit doors propped open with rocks. People cooking in the parking lot. Bathtub and sink clogged upon arrival. Bathroom smelled of mildew. One room window so dirty you couldn’t see out of it. Hallway trash cans spilling onto the floor. With the help of Expedia reps we were able to cancel after one night without penalty. I can imagine the low room price would trump the conditions for some but it just didn’t work for us.

Thank you for reimbursing my second reservation at the Wingate by Wyndham Uniontown, PA. However, I am requesting reimbursement for my original prepaid reservation of approximately $72.65 as well due to the circumstances surrounding this stay. When I arrived for check-in, my phone had unexpectedly died and my ID and Expedia confirmation were stored digitally because my wallet had recently been stolen. While attempting to briefly charge my phone to access my reservation, the hotel manager loudly yelled at me, repeatedly told me to “get out,” and humiliated me in front of other guests despite my calmly explaining that I had already prepaid through Expedia. After finally allowing me to charge my phone, I immediately showed my reservation and ID and was checked in without issue. Additionally, after I extended my stay through another prepaid Expedia booking, the hotel later charged me an additional $150 directly. After reviewing my Expedia confirmations, cancellation notices, and payment records, it appears one of my prepaid reservations may have been canceled or altered after the fact and replaced with a substantially higher direct hotel charge. Because the distressing treatment began during my original reservation and because of the billing concerns tied to this stay, I am respectfully requesting reimbursement for the original $72.65 reservation as well.

Overall an "ok" short stay. Beds were at least clean. The area around the hotel (parking lot and grassy area) is littered. Seems like a lot of long term residence as is becoming common with most hotels. Water pressure was not good as well as the shower curtain was falling off. The trash in all the hallways was over flowing and security was lax (all locked exterior doors are open and the lighting in the parking lot was very dim. The outside dumpster is OVER FLOWING and very trashy.

This hotel appeared to be under some renovation. In our room there was a crack in the window, water on the floor under the window after rain, missing lightbulb in lamp, unable to plug in another lamp due to not enough outlets. There were very strong, uninviting odors in the lobby and throughout the hotel when we arrived and at various times throughout the weekend. Overall disappointed with our stay. In the past I have had much better experience with Wingate by Wyndam.
