"I decided to save a little money on my trip to London and book at a pod hotel. It was my first time staying in a pod. The building is conveniently located in Soho and just a 5 minute walk to the Tube & the Elizabeth line to Heathrow and a Tesco market right across the street. The area is super busy and lots to see. First impression was their staff, which was polite and very helpful. They have a nice lounge area and everything is very clean. Seems I was always seeing staff cleaning even in the middle of the night. As for the pod or nest as they call it...It was comfortable with a nice duvet. You are able to adjust lighting and temperature on your own to your liking. There is a ledge to hold a full size piece of luggage. The only downside is having to slide out in the middle of the night to go across the hall to use the bathroom. There wasn't a bunch of noise so very easy to sleep. WiFi worked well and was able to stream movies - there is no TV in the pods. Would I stay again - most definitely!"

"Overall the property is good. Very convenient area for touring the city. Good restaurant in hotel for eating. Our only complaint is that a room facing the front of the hotel is really loud till like 3am. This wouldn’t be a huge problem if the rooms had AC and you could close the windows to dilute the noise but our stay was a bit warmer and needed windows open and therefore for a family with telephone kids it was too loud. Hotel was very accommodating and moved us to rear facing room and didn’t hear a peep for last part or stay. Very much appreciated"

"Strand Palace was the perfect hotel for my solo trip to London! It was conveniently located, close to Covent Garden, National Gallery, tube, and Thames. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. My room was small but had all the amenities I needed (iron, soap/shampoo, lotion). Other things I liked: -Plenty of outlets, and even a US outlet - Water refill station on every floor -Comfy blanket -Can leave your luggage at hotel -Nice pressure in the showers The only hiccup was I stayed on the 7th floor and on several days the lift did not stop on my floor and I had to take the stairs."

"The clean staff were wonderful and all the staff would acknowledge you when they passed. Truly wonderful staff with the exception of the gentleman that checked us in and out. Everyone else was extremely pleasant and ready to assist. The gentleman that made our omelets on the weekend was amazing. We are Looking forward to booking the hotel on our next visit to London. Well Done!!!!"
