"Our stay was awesome, we were welcomed as soon as we arrived. The building is over 100 years old and is a gorgeous representation of a mansion from that time period. We were given a brief history of the property. Our room was really nice. The complimentary social hour and breakfast was pleasant. Breakfast was good. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Place was clean and refreshing. Rooms big and cool and the pool is nice. The staff friendly and other hotel guest were nice. Felt like being on a cruise on land. If you book here you’ll get a pool view but partial ocean view or just the ocean view. There are no rooms at the back of the building and that’s awesome. Everyone is facing the ocean"

"We absolutely love staying here! The location is perfect since it is very close to the cruise terminal, and getting cruise parking on-site is a massive bonus that saves so much stress. Our second-floor window had a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico, which was amazing to wake up to. Liz at the front desk is wonderful and always makes us feel right at home.The on-location breakfast is super convenient, the pool is the perfect spot to relax, and the beds are so soft and comfortable. This is easily our go-to spot in Galveston, and we can’t wait to come back!!"

"The hostess Miranda met me at the door, very pleasant and helpful. The house is loaded with historic memorabilia and the house is original with what you would expect in a house of its history. This house is for those who love historic buildings! I even commented to family members that this is the type of house we have paid to tour. Hoping the photos give you an idea what to expect, you will not be disappointed if you truly love historic homes. Note: there are stairs and some rooms have shared baths. Talk to the hostess about your preference on the bathroom, stairs are just a part of the charm."

"We loved this place! We stayed in the signature room and felt very fancy being in such a beautiful historical place within walking distance to restaurants. Much different vibe than your typical Galveston beach hotel. The soaking tub was very nice as well and super cool balcony. We will be back!"
