"We really enjoyed our stay. Woodpecker Cottage was very cute and cosy. Hosts Zena & Leigh were very attentive and even provided some basic food items which included some non dairy items for me and fresh eggs from their hens. They were very helpful and gave us information on great hiking locations. They also provide lots of documentation at the cottage with suggestions of things to do and sites to visit. The area was very pastoral and provided easy access to many hiking spots (local and up to 1hr away). "

"Great hosts, snowdon bedroom, beautifully comfy bed, bathroom small but fine for myself, shower toilet basin, dont get them mixed up. Tasty breakfast, i tried welsh cockles ( heated) never had that before, lovely. Comfortable stay for a couple of nights "

"My wife and I, and our little dog, had a lovely long term stay at this cottage. It was spotlessly clean and had everything for our stay. The bed was super comfortable. It was lovely to have the woods to walk through and the balcony to sit outside and watch the chickens waltz by. The scenery from this cottage is wonderful. Daniela was the perfect host and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely stay again. "

"Absolutely loved my stay at The Black Lion Royal Hotel. The room and bathroom were spotless and clearly very well looked after. The people at the reception are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The English breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning.
