"This newly built property presented precisely as it was listed on the site. Clean, with beautiful views of the surrounding area, it was within close proximity of the major sites (Oberammergau, Garmisch, Schloss Neuschwanstein, Ettal Abbey, etc.) The owner, who speaks English well, communicated quickly in response to our initial inquiry as well as subsequent questions we had. We would gladly stay here again for either a winter or summer visit to the region."

"Beautiful location right by the lake. The apartment is tastefully furnished with great amenities, and the host’s communication was excellent. Plenty of fantastic food options nearby as well. The only minor downside was the kitchen lighting (a bit dim) and the number of unused light switches, which made it tricky to figure out which ones actually worked."

The property is a creatively whimsical, decent sized studio that was just perfect for the two of us. "The apartment was perfect for our family group of 5. The owner responded to our questions by email quickly and lives in an apartment in the building. So, she was available to help when we were struggling with the German washing machine! The apartment has a beautiful view of the mountains and is well-supplied with kitchen items and linens. The small town of Farchant has a small grocery store and bakery as well as several restaurants."

"Love this hotel just at the bottom and in between 2 amazing German castles. Clean and comfortable rooms, best breakfast in Europe. Spa is relaxing too. Parking available for a cost. The dinner restaurant is not my favorite tho, too fancy. I prefer more simple or traditional dishes. This is my second stay at this hotel and would def recommend "
