"Es handelt sich um eine kleine Ferienwohnung im Souterrain eines Hauses oberhalb der Kantonsstrasse am Rand von Engelberg. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und die Küche und das Bad sind mit einwandfreien Armaturen ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist nicht besonders gross, aber auch nicht beengt. Der Preis pro Nacht für die Wohnung ist eher auf der teuren Seite. Die Vermieterin, Frau S., ist eine sehr herzliche, offene, hilfsbereite Person."

Bed was very comfortable & we loved the wine/beer/water & chocolates that were left for us. It was such a nice touch for a perfect first stay in Switzerland. Loved being able to walk down to the beach area off the lake and the nearby town was very quaint. Would 100% recommend!!! "

"The apartment was small, but well stocked with towels and kitchen items.. and coffee pellets. The best thing about the place is the view of lake and alps. And the patio with table where we could sit for meals or aperitif. Very fine visit.. gondola and boat ride were fantastic too!"

There are hikes everywhere and always a picturesque view. Not many people from America have visited and there is some cultural shock and language problems to overcome but, it is well worth the effort. The little store is well stocked but not open on Sunday or some days after 11:30AM so you should...
