"The best thing about Smith Rock Chalets is the view. To begin, the road in is over a mile (2.2km) of rough gravel. The shower has slightly warm water, at best. The wood kitchen chairs are uncomfortable, and the couch (hide-a-bed) in the loft (TV room) is equally uncomfortable. The bed was fairly soft but not too bad to sleep on. The weather wasn’t great while I was there so we didn’t use the pool or hot tub so can’t comment. I could not recommend the place."

"Beds were comfortable, spacious, apartment and easy check in. Parking was good. Looks like it had been recently painted. Good to have a washer/dryer. Bothersome issues were open packages of food in cabinets /refrigerator and maintenance issues that need to be addressed."

"Smooth, easy last minute stay. Close to amenities and as advertised. Thank you"

"Great experience! We will be back!"

"The rooms were very clean, the host was great, Cindy gave us some great suggestions for local beaches"
