Great location and very clean!

After staying in Berlin and Potsdam, this was a really nice, relaxing break. It has a great B&B kind of vibe with a quiet outdoor dining area, lots of shade and easy parking. The room was perfect, with air conditioning and lots of nice amenities like a little help-yourself fridge with beers, snacks and soft drinks. Everything was clean and comfortable. The host was so kind and accommodating. I am many issues with my visit and the host was tried very hard to make sure everything was good for me. Can't recommend enough! Great price and great location!

The owners and staff were extremely nice and helpful. This is a wonderful county style hotel in a smaller little community. We loved the atmosphere and the personal attention from the owner. They have done a great job with the facility.

The room was comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, and featured a spacious bathroom, and a lovely view from the window. I stood there in peace, watching daylight break over the village. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet and felt very safe—we slept deeply with the window open. Breakfast was both delicious and filling; I wish I could return just for another one! :) Staying in a historic house made the experience even more special, and I loved learning about its story.

Great location in a building dating back to the 15th Century, but impeccably maintained. Rather steep curved castle stairs, but the manager was very helpful in carrying our luggage. Breakfast was excellent as was service all around. Sherry was waiting in a decanter in the room. When a taxi was delayed picking us up at the train station, the manager (owner?) drove down, himself. First rate service all the way around. Highly recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised when arriving at this hotel. The remodeling they did recently came out beautifully: spacious and clean rooms, heavenly bed and wonderful touch with the hints of history they have provided throughout the hotel. The breakfast was top class also, great assortment of food and great quality. We have NO complaints what-so-ever. Everything was fine

We loved it here! The family running this landhotel was very helpful and friendly. Located outside of Bautzen, it's a great place to be away from tourists and enjoy contact with real people. The hosts spoke some English, but everyone else we encountered generally just spoke German. It's a very relaxing location, and you'll definitely feel away from the hustle of being in a tourist site. Breakfast was very good, and the dinner we had one night was amazing. We'd love to go back here again!
