All we wanted was a hot tub so we booked this little getaway. "We just stayed here for my sister’s hen weekend. Although at one point we didn’t think we would make it due to restriction, he hosts could not have been more helpful to make it easy for us. "Everything was exactly as described! The location was beautiful, and we were able to go on many lovely walks. It had just the right amount of privacy, and I imagine we will be back."

"I don’t even know where to start. We fell in love with the shepherd’s hut just looking at the pictures. The reality was so much more! It was a 5* experience! Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, amazing views, very private and secluded, cooking wise everything you may need, big bathroom and a powerful shower. Games, wonderfully smelling fresh towels, beautiful grounds, not to mention fresh milk, butter, croissants, yoghurts. Stephen greeted us upon arrival and he was the most accommodating and discreet...

"Friendly welcome. Everything set up and ready for on arrival, including coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter & jam. The Hobbit House is tiny, but so well designed, and it just feels so cozy. Good size patio and gorgeous outdoor furniture, including chairs, side tables, table & benches, gas bbq and fire pits with logs. Really, just the perfect rural retreat. Pub (The Rising Sun) and local shop within walking distance. We're already planning our return!"

"We enjoyed our stay, although we spent most of our time in the town centre. The hotel is very conveniently siuated, comfortable and has a nice luxury feel. There are some comments that it could use a refurb but we did not feel that was the case for our room, only in the lobby toilets did I notice some wear and tear. I would return to this hotel, should I be staying in Bath again but will make more use of the facilities next time. The staff are pleasant and helpful but the only negative was one of our drinks orders taken in the garden was forgotten and took 30 mins to arrive but this is not a reason to overshadow our stay and the waiter was very apologetic. "
