The property is located literally in the middle of a large vineyard on top of a hill with a full view of lake Bodensee and the village of Hagnau. "Only overnight on road trip. Hotel is in a residential section, no other evident hotels nearby. Rooms were clean, reception friendly, must be popular as it was full the night we stayed. For us it represented good value, convenience access Lake Constance, we did not have their breakfast, as we were on the move fairly early."

"The location of this hotel is quite a bit outside of the village, but the walk into town along the lake is so pleasant, it actually was a plus. The town was surprisingly charming and so much more interesting than we were led to believe. (We almost prefer it over Lindau for its charm.)The cobblestoned streets, the lake promenade with several waterside restaurants and cafes, the wineries, the upper town and lower town were fantastic. The hotel staff was extremely positive and helpful and polite....

"The room was excellent particularly the bed and sheets. It was a nice touch to have complementary beer and soft drinks in the refrigerator. Shower was excellent. We chose to eat at the hotel down the street because it look very traditional. the food there was excellent."
