Rain Forest Resort Village
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms are older, but very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The lakefront setting is unbelievably peaceful, and the staff were kind and attentive throughout our stay. Daily housekeeping was appreciated."
"Family of 4. I felt like I was on vacation in the 1950’s in the most positive way. People were outside enjoying the view, games, a glass of wine, the fire pit, while folks were inside enjoying the fireplace doing puzzles, puzzles, and board games.
Our room did not have AC but we were provided a box fan and slept with the sliding door open- it was perfect.
We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. We completed two hikes on property.
I would definitely stay here again!"
Waterfront Spacious Custom Lakefront Home - Lake Quinault, Olympic National Park
8/10 Good
"Absolutely stunning house and beautiful location…the only slight issues is that the neighboring property is right next to it and guests from the neighboring property are walking in front of your windows and patio etc, so the privacy is lacking. My only other issue was that zero effort was made to make the place homey or welcoming. Shockingly sparse, like someone had just moved out and only a few items remained. I was heart broken at first with how uncomfortable the space looked and felt, so I spent the entire time there trying to make the space comfortable and cozy, which actually turned out to be a really fun project in the end…but I would have rather just felt at home from the start obviously, but in any case. That was my only complaint. Beautiful home, just needed some love."

"Really loved having coffee on the porch, admiring the view and listening to the thrushes in the morning. You can hear the Barred owls calling to each other at dusk. We were about to see a couple of them as well. The place had all the amenities were were looking for. Willaby campground had a great day use spot to swim, fish and enjoy a picnic. Appreciated the camping chairs. They were great to have! Thanks!"
"We enjoyed our time there. It was so peaceful,. The place is lovely. Small, but enough room for our family.. Very clean. We enjoyed hiking. But there’s only so much you can do there. No Internet away from the excellent WiFi at the house. Exactjy 3 restaurants on the entire lake to choose from. Groceries are a necessity.. The closest big grocery is far away in Forks."
Woody Waterfront A-Frame Lakefront Home on Lake Quinault - Olympic National Park
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing time at the Woody A frame on Lake Quinault! Everything at the house was just as described. The views were incredible and the lake was so peaceful and beautiful. We loved staying at this home!We spent a lot of time sitting down by the lake on the lake chairs or on the logs or just hanging out on by the water. We got up early both days to see the sunrise and it was amazing. We also spotted deer, river otters, ducks, and some loons while down near the water. The house was great, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice and updated. The house was very clean with plenty of towels and supplies. The dining table was great for meals as well as the table on the deck. The many windows fill the house with natural light and with views of the forest or lake in every direction. The air conditioning keeps the rooms comfortable in the summer. We took several hikes on both sides of the lake and the trails are beautiful through the rainforest with huge trees covered with moss and ferns all around. It really feels surreal like something out of a movie. The lodge across the lake has kayaks and paddle boards so we rented them one morning and we were the only ones out on the lake. It was so crystal clear and beautiful. The host was great about providing information about the place, how to get in and also quickly responding to questions. The location was great - quiet but easy to find and get to. We would definitely love to stay here again!"

"The property was right on the lake and lovely. Plan to bring any food, or condiments you will use. There is a drip coffee maker and a kerig. There is a pizza place and a small grocery with in 10 minutes. There are kayaks shared with the house next door on the beach. Unfortunately my husband got sick and we had to leave early."
