We stayed durung some hot and humid summer days. Window can only be opened a tiny bit, no airconditioning and small room. Very sweaty experience. There is also a lot of noise from the highway but this would only be an issue in the summer with open window. Big carpark and good breakfast. Very friendly frontdesk.

Convenient hotel that requires refurbishment

We stayed in order to catch an early morning ferry. As such, it was great that we could charge our electric car overnight. Also, there has been no issue with the ordered breakfast boxes (we had to leave before breakfast was served). All food intolerances were catered for. The room itself was small and properly cleaned. In addition it was very hot and stuffy. The hotel has no AC in the rooms, thus the only way to cool the room was to open the window. And here things became less ideal. The room was on the ground floor, but the hotel did not offer to open the large window. The small one could be opened, but the mechanism to locked it an semi-open position (to prevent someone from entering from the outside) was broken. In effect we didn't want to keep that window open while asleep. The bed itself was comfortable. Overall the room was functional, one could even hang up clothes. But various items were either damaged (for example the bin in the bathroom) or showed severe signs of wear and tear. We would strongly suggest to refurbish these rooms or at least notice broken stuff and have it replaced. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good pressure. In terms of functionality nothing to complain here.

Good EV stopover hotel

The hotel is a bit dated and probably needs some major renovation soon. However overall, our stay was pleasant and in our expectations with Scandic. The room was clean, though smelled a bit dusty. Bathroom is spacious with a really good shower. The beds were pretty comfortable. So we were to refresh ourselves before we had to continue our journey the next day. Unfortunately too early to have breakfast. Instead we had breakfast box waiting for us at checkout. While the location of the hotel is not that convenient in order to explore Uppsala, it is great when passing through with an EV as there are plenty of 11kW Mer electrical car chargers in front of the hotel.

Varmt! Ingen AC.

MINUS: Ingen AC i Lobby eller på rummen. Det var allmän dålig ventilation vilket gjorde att det var extremt varmt och dålig luft (förutom på gymmet som hade AC). Biorummet för barnen var inte aktivt och det var färre spel än vanligt för att vara Scandic på sommaren. PLUS: Scandic är bra för barnen under sommaren med tipspromenad och pysselhörna. Trevlig personal som var hjälpsamma mot barnen och bra frukost för familjen. Summering: Ett helt okej hotell men man bör undvikas under varma sommardagar.

God frukost och kvällsmat!

Mycket god frukostbuffé, där det fanns det mesta man vill ha. Bra utbud av glutenfria alternativ. Rent och snyggt och den trevliga personalen fyller på innan saker tar slut. Mycket god mat på kvällen. Buffen rekommenderas! Trevlig och glad personal! Ingen ac på rummet, dock en bordsfläkt som räddade nätterna då det inte svalkade med bara öppet fönster.
