"Nice stay, decent apartment, recommended"

"Very clean. Comfortable bed with extra blankets and sheets. Easy parking out the front. Shower was awkward due to the sloping ceiling, and the resulting shower curtain arrangement. Location and proximity to the highway were excellent for us. Good supermarket a short drive or good walk away. "

"The apartment was well stocked with all essentials. We were very comfortable and satisfied with our stay. The area is incredibly beautiful so we enjoyed exploring and returning to a lovely apartment at the end of each day. Our only complaint - if you can call it that - was that it would have been helpful to have instructions in English for us non-German speakers. Getting on WiFi, laundry options and some other small things would have been helpful. The caretaker was very nice to us but language...

"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"Great apartment and wonderful owners. Only two issues...Expedia needs to stop advertising laundry facilities. Also there are a large number of stairs to get to the apartment (minimum 3-4 flights.)."

The location is in a beautiful part of the Black Forest with stunning views, hiking trails and outdoor activities close by. Stefanie and Dominik are wonderful hosts and kept great communication. "Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee. The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing...
