" Really had an excellent stay here. The staff was so kind and helpful. They all greeted us and were quick to answer any questions or assist ( we locked ourselves out of our room on accident.) The hot tub and pool being open 24 hours was an amazing surprise. It was clean and uncluttered with lots of towels available. We had a microwave and the mini fridge actually had a FREEZER, which seems to be a rarity these days. The breakfast was very good, we came about 30 minutes before it closed and they still brought fresh trays of potatoes, sausage gravy, several fruit choices, cereals, bagels, waffle maker. It was such a nice treat. And it was about $10 cheaper than the next closest option that had a hot tub and pool. I see why its rated 9.0 and I absolutely agree. -Manager- If you read this, please give your staff a treat or bonus, every single one of them was A+ , from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the kitchen staff. "

"We loved the convenience of being an easy drive to our concert at the Virginia Theater last night (a Monday) and still close to visit campus town. We plan to stay here again, possibly for Ebertfest."

"Nice place. A little off the beaten path, but easy access to surrounding areas/attractions. For the price, I think the place is great. Ample parking and amenities, and friendly staff."

"Requested a room with Queen bed. Lobby guy said didn’t have one available. There were literally 3 cars in the parking lot. Elevator was out of order , apparently has been for months. The bar and restaurant were closed . Pool was very dirty . So didn’t risk catching some skin infection. Room was not vacuumed well and no hand soap in the bathroom. You have to go outside to access rooms through a door that is not locked and unsafe for guests. Stairway is nasty garbage on steps. Peeling pant and rust everywhere. Hallway to rooms smelled horrible. The photos on the web site must have been taken by a Hollywood fiction photographer. They know the issues, but it’s obvious they just don’t care. Wish I would have read some of the reviews before booking. Lots of the same complaints. "
