Been staying here for a lot of years but the last few times it has not been very clean, it is in DESPERATE need of a renovation. The doors locks are not secured to the door. It looks like doors were broken into. The room needs cleaned, new tiling for bathroom floors & new paint. So run down… we will not be staying in the near future! We didn’t want housekeeping coming in the 3 days we were there but when we went to get 2 towels, wash cloths & hand towels after 2nd day they said none were...

The facilities are beautiful. When we turned onto the cobblestone street, we already got excited. The bed and breakfast has a beautiful garden that leads to the large porch, complete with armchairs and porch swing. The inside doesn't disappoint: cathedral ceilings await you in the lobby and sitting room. Everything has a nice flair, and is completed by fresh flowers everywhere: on the mantel, the credenza in the dining room, all the dining room tables... The bedrooms are spacious and very...

Cool hotel with a mid- century modern vibe. Fully updated and super comfortable bed and great bathroom/shower. Enjoyed a few drinks in the cozy library lounge area. Definitely want to come back when we have more time for dinner in the restaurant and to explore the area.

Quiet! Convenient parking and close to the university

First time in this property and was very satisfied. Room was clean, comfortable and rate was reasonable. Very convenient location will definitely stay here again!

Great stay

Located right next to OSF hospital. Grounds were well maintained. Safe neighborhood.

I have to give the pleasant staff and room cleanliness 5 stars. I was happy to not have carpet in my room. It was mom’s weekend at UofI so rooms were on the pricey side. The mattress is where I was less dissatisfied. It was squeaky with repositioning and not super comfortable. Overall, I would return because of the the cleanliness and staff.

So, I arrived in tears at this hotel late on Friday night.I'd unexpectedly spent the entire evening in the ER with a kidney stone, could find a 24-hour pharmacy anywhere, and even though it's easy to find, my GPS decided to lose its mind that night and what should have been a three-minute drive took an hour. The front desk clerk (I'm pretty sure her name was Shay) was so incredibly kind. She went above and beyond to help me, even calling one of her friends to see if he could help. I was so...

Desirae at the front desk went out her way to help me and our family she’s great staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion Inn and Suites in Urbana, Illinois, feeling appreciated that we chose to stay there. For us having the option of a room with a sliding glass door that opens onto a grassy area with trees and a picnic table was nice. We liked being able to open the room up and have fresh air. The grout in the tiled bathroom was clean which takes effort. The shower was adjustable to 2 different heights. We had never seen that before and felt it would be helpful if...

Even though renovations were ongoing, the stay was very comfortable.

This was probably the cleanest, most specious room for the money I have stayed in a VERY, VERY long time. The staff was so kind and helpful! I will definitely stay there again!

A great hotel, super clean, comfortable beds, clean sheets, towels and comfortable pullout couch too. Hot and yummy breakfast. We stayed here several times and for sure will be back, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great place. Clean… just please don’t lift up the mattress cover. The mattress looked like a murder happened on it.

New hotel in excellent condition. Convenient to Highway and gas station. Receptionist needs in servicing and customer service and friendliness. We used Expedia to book this hotel and I gave her two last names reservation could be under. She insisted I find my email To confirm reservation. After a few minutes of struggling to find email, I suggested are using picture ID. Not sure why she didn’t suggest that right away and not waste my time struggling with finding an email on my phone. ...
