"Terrible experience—the GPS coordinates and instructions were incorrect and we ended up in the middle of nowhere, with four kids. We called the Albergue for four hours at the number they provided, between check-in hours, no answer. Emailed the property, no answer. We ended up reserving another hotel on the spot after wasting an entire afternoon trying to contact this hotel. We were charged anyway. Not sure if we just couldn’t find the place and no one responds, or whether it doesn’t even exist...

"We stayed here as a brief overnight stopover on our way back to Barcelona. It is a modestly priced hotel located in a small town in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Based on that, I was expecting an older property but I was wrong. Another family member booked the hotel while I was driving so I didn't see any photos beforehand. I was surprised to find that it was actually quite modern. The building seems fairly new. We stayed in a family room that accommodates four people. There were two twin beds and a bunk bed, which was sort of like a Murphy bed. The upper and lower bunk fold down out of a cabinet. It was all set up for us in advance of our arrival. The whole room, including furnishings, fixtures, and bed linens seemed new, clean, and in excellent condition. The bathroom is a little small but was immaculately clean. Everything in the bathroom, including the tile, was white which would make dirt pretty obvious. There is no elevator so you do have to climb stairs to the hotel rooms which are located over a restaurant. We had breakfast there in the morning (not included with room). The food was good and reasonably priced compared to similar restaurants where we dined while in Spain."

"This was my favorite place in all of Europe. We visited 3 countries this trip and this was the best night sleep I had the entire trip. The hotel host was super nice and friendly. Helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, And beautiful. I felt so welcomed and at home. Booked it last minute because we couldn’t keep driving. Very peaceful and safe. I could go on and on. This is a “don’t miss it” place to stay."

"A very tranquil and pleasant hotel in a beautiful quiet location. Lots of parking available, nice clean and well maintained grounds and a good size pool. Check in was quick and easy and room was of a good size with a very comfy bed and effective aircon. Breakfast buffet was a quite limited range and eggs not great while there were no no facilities in room for making coffee or tea; two things I would expect to be better at this price point and number of stars. Overall a very nice place to stay that with a few small areas of improvement would be really excellent."

"We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at El Moli, which is located in a very beautiful albeit quiet location in the Alt Penedès. We were accommodated in one of the village house rooms which is about 250m from the hotel/restaurant where there are also the car parking facilities. The room was very pleasant - a little bit of noise from other guests walking around above us early in the morning - but not really an issue, Great breakfast and really lovely staff."
