The staff at Cabinas Darely were phenomenal. They were very helpful and informative. It was great having a restaurant at the hotel because there were not very many other options in town. Besides the food was good. I noticed that some of the guests from a much fancier hotel around the corner went to Cabinas Darely's restaurant. I highly recommend them.

This was a great place to spend a couple of nights while waiting for the El Chepe connecting train to Creel. The staff were great and picked us up from the train station without pre arrangement. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. We did have issues with the toilet not flushing properly and the shower was a bit hit and miss as well, but they were minor things and wouldn’t stop us returning. The restaurant serves good home cooked meals and nothing is a problem for the staff. They can organise tours of the area although most things are within walking distance if you feel like exploring yourself.

The staff were amazing! Very friendly and super helpful. The room was new, very clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. No water in the mornings, but just due to the cold in January. The restaurant had really tasty food and good prices. Hot chocolate is delicious. The area was very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay.

From the time we finally connected with Darey off the train at Divisidero, we were treated like family by Darey and his wife and all their staff. Nothing was too much trouble and Darey made sure we were comfortable for our stay. We ate all our meals at the hotel and they were amazing - made just for us. Tours with Jorge were top notch - intense, informative, and all our questions answered. A great place to see the Copper Canyon, in all its various forms, and be treated like family members they are so happy to see. Thank you to everyone at Cabanas Darely.

Ok stay

Very nice - picked us up from the station but hadn’t got through the door before trying to sell us tours - after 7 hours travel that is not what we wanted. Initially Offered a room completely different from what we booked - but as this opened directly into the restaurant we refused and were driven to a small block of rooms which were perfectly adequate. Lack of covering on the windows and doors meant that the place stayed very bright. The only place open to eat in the village was the cafe attached to the main reception- ok food but a bit pricey for what you got - basic breakfasts and dinners for around 170 pesos. We did do a tour of 4 “highlights” (450 pesos each) in a van but this only took 2 hours and dropped us back at the station 4 hours before the train was due!

Did enjoy very much. Pick up service was included. Recommend to do a hiking of couple of hours with Gregory, one of the staff members. Did really enjoy. Little point of attention is the capacity of the warm water in the shower. Was very quickly empty.!

Muy satisfechos con las cabañas, el servicio excelente, el anfitrion Darely muy atento y amable; todo el personal muy cordial. La habitación muy limpia, el lugar en muy buena ubicacion.
