"The Washington is a moderate sized hotel in an excellent location. The room was small but had everything that was needed, and was nicely presented. The onsite Parking is excellent, as parking in this part of Bristol is impossibly difficult. Staff were super helpful allowing me to access the car park some hours before check-in. A huge benefit. Recommended"

"The hotel is in a good location in nice surroundings, although the road noise was significant overnight. The hotel in general is tired and the room had a musty mould smell which was overpowering. No one on reception so call a number to get the code to enter, then another code to get the key for your room. Breakfast was packed up and left outside the room door in the morning, but was sufficient and suited me as had to be away early. Would have appreciated better coffee. "

"Quite an unusual property which I really liked but it wasn’t what my partner would have chosen. They did come round to it though. Very handy for the town and restaurants and lovely walks nearby. Fridge in room with water, bathroom a little cramped but at least it was clean and the host (who I think may live there) was very friendly. "

"Definitely not luxury as advertised, but for the price I wasnt expecting it to be. Essam was lovely, great host! I would say the mattress in room 4 needs replacing as it completely sinks to the middle, making it quite uncomfortable. Other than that the room gave us exactly what we needed. Short walk in to the centre for a concert and somewhere to rest! "

"I was greeted and given a glass of water whilst waiting - as I had walked from the train station with a suitcase. I was then shown up to my room and the host explained clearly about how to use the key/key fob and what time I would need to use the key for the front door when they close it at night. The carpets are beautifully deep and nice to walk on and the hotel has only just been decorated so everything is new. The en-suite bathroom is beautiful and the shower works well. "Our lodge was amazing there was plenty of room for 4 adults and the lodge can accommodate 6 although only 4 people can sit at the dining table inside. The hot tub was ready for use when we arrived and self check in was easy. Amanda who came to check the hot tub was very friendly and helpful. Please note the lodge has underfloor heating so the wall heaters aren’t required and the hot water seems to be regulated from the thermostat in the kitchen. "Brilliant little place to stay, good for just coming and going when you need without the hassle of keys. Parking was ok outside on the road. Very clean and tidy, just no hot water in the sink tap which was weird as you cant wash unless having a shower but overall great place to stay for a cheap short stay."
