"This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!"

We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which...

"We had a great time at this place. It is a pretty location in the higher altitues of the Massive Central. The place was clean and the owners were friendly. The only point of confusion was about the bed sheets. This costs extra, but the extra item was not described on VRBO/FeWo. (If you bring your own sheets make sure to ask them about the right sizes.) L'ombre des grands arbres nous a permis de supporter la canicule. Nous avons pu nous rafraîchir tous les jours dans le lac et faire de nombreuses activités comme du pédalo, du canoë , randonnée, visiter des cascades à 1h de Neuvic.(à Gimel)"

"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."
