Kay's River Escape is located in the beautiful Sabinal River Valley just outside of Utopia. This beautifully decorated cabin has two bedrooms, two baths, living/dinning area, fully equipped kitchen and back porch. The covered porch overlooks the Sabinal River and is a great spot for drinking coffee and watching the abundant wildlife. Kay's Cabin is a 15 minute drive to Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Park making it great for day trips. Pets welcome with a fee $60 per pet.
If you're looking for that special place next to a quiet river deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, then Kay's River Escape is the place for you. The Cabin is located in the beautiful Sabinal River Valley just outside of Utopia. This beautifully decorated cabin has two bedrooms, two baths, living/dinning area, fully equipped kitchen and back porch. The covered porch overlooks the Sabinal River and is a great spot for drinking coffee and watching the abundant wildlife. Some of the amenities include a wood burning chimenea for those chilly hill country evenings, a fire pit to roast marshmallows, and a picnic table. Located just 15 minutes to Garner and Lost Maples State Parks makes for great day trips if you want to go hiking or tubing then come back to the cabin to relax and enjoy the spectacular views, sunsets and star-filled nights.

Super clean and well stocked

This cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed except for bringing our own towels, but we were told in advance to do that. We loved having the fire pit and the back patio is great. Very easy access to Garner State Park. The only downside was that the river bed is dry and this was not mentioned in the description. We were a little bummed about that.

Cute Cabin

This was a cute cabin. Loved all the mini-split A/C in every room, especially with the tremendous heat wave we were having. Tracy was very friendly & attentive
