"We rented an RV and had no idea this was even a thing. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Nothing is ever perfect, but just having someone try their best to make you happy is what matters most to me. The property itself is amazing and this is definitely a place we will come back to, either renting or bringing our own RV. They are also right in the heart of where the best spots on the Frio are."

"Cabin was clean and nicely kept. If you want coffee, there is a small Keurig but no K-cups; a couple bottled waters are provided to start you with. You need to bring more bottles and K-cups but it was not a deal breaker for us. Jack-n-Jill bathroom, TV’s in each room. Mini split A/C’s were nice for different cooler/warmer sleeping people. No washer/dryer but was also not a deal breaker. Kitchen is stocked otherwise as far as cooking utensils, pots/pans, silverware, etc. Property is at the end of a long road so it feels very remote and safe, very quiet - however it is a one car road so there will be times you may need to pull off.There is another cabin in close proximity (I believe another rental of the same company) but we didn’t really mind - we never heard the other people, even when they were outside. You do have a dedicated driveway to your cabin so you’re not encroaching on the other cabin and likewise them to you. I do believe there was some property work going on during our stay so there a was a little machinery noise but we were already up and moving around (around 10am) so we were not woken up by beeping. Front door window blind is missing but all other windows are covered. We used a towel and hair ties fastened to the plastic pieces where a blind was at one point.Communication with hose was very fast and clear. We do plan to make a river trip a yearly thing and will plan to stay at this cabin again (or the neighboring one) if dates match up."

"This is a beautiful property. We come back every year for our family vacation. The house is perfect, the river is amazing! The host is very communicative and the manager is quick to help.We love this property and will continue to return every year."

"The house is dated but full of local history and completely functional. There are family pictures, articles and curios to ponder. My family loved the pool. 3 nice bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs with a mini-kitchen. We played ping-pong in the gameroom and cards. Outside there are several great spots to drink coffee in the morning and just observe nature.The host lives nearby and answers questions very fast. She has lots of information about the area.We hiked the Lost Maples Natural Area; drove through some of the twisted sisters hiway route; shopped in Leakey; ate at the Bent Rim Grill in Leakey.May go back in the fall when the foliage changes – after the first frost according to our host.It was a great visit!"
