"We stayed in the big room which is separate to the main chateau - a short walk. It was private and the vaulted ceilings were stunning. Spacious. Grounds were pleasant. The two pianos did not work, nor did the foosball table. Pianos are hard to fix I know especially when they’re that broken, but in that case probably don’t mention them as an activity during checkin. The foosball table is a five minute handyman fix."

"Excellent room with a view of the Loire, house-keeping were great every day, though the carpet was stained and needed more cleaning than expected of housekeeping. Breakfast was too often a daily disaster, this hotel needs to purchase more forks and more glassware, it was too often usual t9 need to eat Breakfast with a knife and dessert spoon as there were no forks, and to have orange juice in a coffee mug as there was no available glassware."

"Overall great experience but the fact that the AC is locked and very weak, our room was at 28c / 82f all night isn't acceptable for a 4 star hotel. The staff couldn't do anything because they use a centralized system and the remotes really only control on/off. The AC register was blowing at 24c / 75f with barely any pressure. If we had not come during the summer, I would have left a 5 star review."
