Les Mariniers

10/10 Excellent

"Tout était très bien juste un petit problème d'humidité dans la chambre mais sinon c'était parfait"

Chateau de Chissay

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed our stay in this truly historic chateau. The property has so much history that we enjoyed walking around seeing everything. The architecture is fascinating. Beautiful view of the valley from the dining room. Our room was basic but clean. Big comfortable tub. They had forgotten to change out our towels so we had to ask for fresh. Minor inconvenience. We had an excellent dinner in a beautiful room with high ceilings and a view out to the courtyard. The breakfast is ala carte and plentiful. A nice variety of eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cheese and meats. We were just there for one night driving through to Paris. It fit our needs perfectly."

gîte near Saint Aignan sur Cher, Beauval Zoo and Loire castles

10/10 Excellent

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le gîte est très agréable, rien ne manque. Face aux vignes, nous avons pu observer des petits chevreuils jouer. La localisation est appropriée pour la visite des châteaux de la Loire et du zooparc de Beauval. La propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible. Location à recommander"

Grand Hôtel Saint-Aignan

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean and had an air-con unit so it was cool. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. It feels like they have renovated bits of it but there are something that are still a bit more vintage, e.g. the shower tray- but, it was still a good shower and that seemed quite new. Really good location to the zoo. Car park is small but there’s a car park close by."

Charming 3-star gîte between Chenonceaux and Beauval

10/10 Excellent

"Jeremy and Kim were the perfect hosts. The property was just what we expected and our 5 year old granddaughter and 10 month old grandson absolutely adored the swimming pool. All good baby equipment supplied bedroom lay out was very good for a family with young children and grandparents Thank you Kim and Jeremy for a lovely holiday and for making our holiday perfect. The West family"

Hôtel Relais des Landes - Demeures et Châteaux

8/10 Good

"We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."
